I am old school and support anything that restricts the bunny hopping. Back in the day.....LOL......clans would often kick bunny hoppers. COD even developed a mod to restrict hopping because of all the complaints about it. Being unable to shoot while hopping sounds like it has merit.

With all your suggestions try to remember you only have so many players across the servers involved with COD WAW. Servers are only full on rare occasions. If you add servers you may negatively effect the traffic by providing to many servers and not enough participants to fill each server adequately for game play. It sort of like the Divide and Conquer concept. I do not think adding any servers will help you at all and perhaps, in the end, do more harm than good with regard to traffic.

OMG, please NO sniper! Game becomes to tactical and slow, I do not have patience for that. Snipers are bad enough as it is especially with the Springfield on the Nam server. If any teenager on graduating high school is unsure of what direction there life is going military service is a great option. Maturity can be gained, skills learned and a good reference for employment after completion of service. Who knows, it might even turn out to be a career move.

I am classified as a combat Veteran but almost feel guilty about the designation as a requirement to join the VFW. I served from Nov 61 to Nov 64 which qualifies me as a combat Veteran for the VFW. Qualifying for the VFW at one time required service during a period of conflict. Not sure if it is still a qualification or not. Anyway Nam was just warming up when I got out and being qualified as serving as a combat veteran is quite a stretch for me. None the less I qualified. I did however get around as an Army guy with a 3 year service commitment; Fort Jackson, Basic Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Welding School Fort Sill, OK, Post / Combat Engineers Temporary Duty 4 months in Thailand, SEATO exercise Toul France, 3rd Echelon Engineers Got to see and experience a lot, not to mention a good way to grow up a bit.

Word of thought, just imagine if u had to live or see these dicks every day... Have fun and I hope things get better. As an Admin I would think you could regulate it if you were in game yourself as a witness. If a member is disrespecting what XI stands for and disrespecting his/her tags I think a lot could be done quite easily. Smurfing can also help root out problem guests or members.

I despise those for accuse another of cheating without first having proof. It's like calling someone a liar which to some, me included, are fighting words. Sure, I am a little hardcore but I feel anyone accusing another of cheating without facts / proof should be punished themselves for their unsupported accusations. What is a shame is that the name of the clan, in this case XI, is poorly represented by the whiners. If they think someone is cheating they should just keep their mouths shut and record or report to an Admin. That's what Admins are here for. A group of unregulated vigilantes serves no beneficial service and as in this case usually do more harm than good.

One problem eliminated, it is not the power supply. Best Buy was great in helping me which sort of surprised me. I was going to have them install the power supply but they easily diagnosed that was not the problem. He plugged in and it started up right away. I had opened the power supply but they took it back with no problems. They also did some diagnostic testing and all looked good. Then he asked how I had it plugged in which was to a surge protector. Bottom line there was the problem for the complete shutdown. It also could have been causing the previous problems with the PC partially turning off. Apparently the PC was being denied adequate power by the surge protector and then the surge protector completely shit the bed. Now I have a new surge protector and my PC goes directly to a wall outlet. The surge protector handles 4,350 Joules. The other one was very old. It remains to be seen if it also resolves my in game PC shutdowns. I am hoping it does. Gamed a little bit a few minutes ago with no problems.

In reading the above post you can see I am relatively confident my problems were power supply caused. I have bought a Rocketfish 900W: http://www.rocketfishproducts.com/products/computer-accessories/RF-900WPS.html I thought I might do it myself but after looking at the insides I have ruled that out. Did not shop for price and simply went to Best Buy and bought it. Now just to figure out when I can get it installed. My bad luck that my son who works on PC's for Siemens is out of town this week. I may just take it to Best Buy and have them put it in. I will be sorely disappointed if after it is installed it does not fire back up.

I do not vote anymore. XI made it's point early on as the top PC clan. After awhile the voting gets tedious and, as far as I can see, serves no benefit to XI other than feeding someones ego. I suppose it's good for the Top 100 because the more hits on a web site the more value to the web site. I really do not need to contribute to their hit count. And I am not even considering how bogus the results appear to be. It's one of those things that was fun for awhile but wears out over time.

The saga continues............ As some recall my PC shuts down leaving only the fans running and if something had been said in game voice it kept repeating itself. I would have to hard power it off and restart. Lately it has not been crashing as often and I thought System Restore helped. Well, tonight it shut off and I mean SHUT OFF, everything including the fans this time and will not restart. I pulled the power cord for about 10 min to no avail. But I take this as a good sign because I suspect the culprit has revealed itself. I think it is the power supply as the root cause of all my problems. I will get a new power supply tomorrow but do not know if I have enough smarts to install one. If not my son will do it for me next week. I am rather confident that the power supply has been the cause of my unusual issues, at least I sure hope so.
