  1. Maybe some of our Russian friends who game on the servers could do some translating.
  2. Bigmeandean Shamu Bigmeandean Cavey I honestly wish thats all the problem is, but with all the health issues I have acquired over the years my hands are effected by a bad case of gout and rhimatoid arthritis . This plus a pinched nerve in my neck and you saw the evidence of all that. Now I have leaRNED TO LIVE WITH IT BUT ITS NOT EASY ! @Dean: You also had me confused because I have seen other posts where you are very articulate and generally grammatically correct IE the "Respect" topic. Reading them reminded me of this thread, it's like two different people at the keyboard. I had to come back and read this one.............. are you sure you do not have a split personality? Shamu I usually spend a lot of time proof reading and such, but here I felt like you as a reader should have a sense of how tough life really for people like myself and others much like myself! Even on some of the other post I had critics posting remarks about this or that but I have gotten where it doesn't effect me much anymore! No I am not a split personality but I do have depression issues where I can react either negative or shut clear down if someone pushes my button too far! It's not a pretty sight when I get really angry because my mind is sharper and I can turn anything you say around and use it to take you down! I hate that side of me except for the clear sharp mind! Thats my story and I am sticking to it! Please understand my "sp;it personality" comment was in jest and followed by a Smiley for emphasis of it not being serious. It's just that I took notice of the differences in the posts. In reading this reply and other posts I can only admire your tenacity. A sharp mind is not unusual when angry because your awareness also raises along with the anger. Sort of like a defensive mechanism for the body. Using an old saying the one possible drawback is that sometimes the mouth goes into gear before the brain is engaged. Obviously not the case here. Have you seen the Dragon Speech Recognition software being advertised of late? I wonder how good it is or if anyone has tried it for a non biased evaluation. I can see it as handy if it really works well. A person could work in Word and then copy and paste the result in forums and other social media like Facebook. It could be a great tool for some people who are otherwise cut out of social networking.
  3. Cpt.TennealXI Shamu Is anyone really reading these extended commentaries? They are too much for my old brain to digest in a forum medium. Short and concise I could handle. Wouldn't God write n Hebrew?
  4. Perhaps callous but my charitable contributions for Christmas will be animal charities. People should be able to help themselves............. in most cases. One of my favorites; http://articles.philly.com/2011-11-27/news/30447172_1_rescue-horses-inmates-care-ranger

  7. Primal, in the public section of XI forums there does not appear to be any Hot Topic type of forum. Most likely "Politics" is a members only forum.
  8. Well, let's see if I dig myself a hole. First off I am far from religious, do not believe in God, Jesus Christ, Buddah, Mohammed, Dali Lahma or any other religious deity you choose to include. That said I will not say any religion is wrong nor is the existence of some kind of superior being in error. I prefer Facts over Faith and most religions offer very few facts. If any religious thing bothers me it's the obnoxious behavior of right wingers within any religion trying to impose their belief on others. As for homosexuality I have no problem with them as an individual person. I do think it goes against the normal nature of animals. Being in my opinion, abnormal, I think finding a medical solution or gene therapy should be pursued first and foremost and homosexuality should not be considered normal human behavior. Homosexuals getting married? I do not think I really care, it's their choice and I can respect that. I would not like it if it became simply a tool for lower taxes and was not genuine. As adoptive parents I have my doubts about introducing a child into what I consider an abnormal marital relationship. No doubt some could do a very good job as parents but I would prefer the generally accepted family structure for adopted children. I just have my doubts and if the responsibility were on my shoulders for placement of a child a gay couple would be way down on the list. Not an impossibility but very low on the priority list. PS: Know what I miss most about not being religious? When a friend faces a difficulty I cannot say they will be in my prayers but only in my thoughts. Somehow just being in my thoughts does not offer much encouragement or support.
  9. Just gotta love these commercials. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=192043364215590
  10. This is not a topic for me because I have yet to decide who's religion knows what they are talking about. Faith and Facts do not live in the same neighborhood when it comes to religion. So believe what you want and I would like the same attitude reciprocated.
  11. JohnnyDos Thanks and that is right SOB,What you said.Every 6 months.I can give a bit more now. All right Johnny but do give wifey some credit here.
  12. Perhaps we should also be asking Johnny to give a big THANK YOU! to his lucky wife?
  13. Headquarters in Belgium but also manufacturing in the US and other countries. Also merged with Browning and Winchester who also manufacture worldwide. I still consider them a Belgian company but some FN products are made here. http://www.fnherstal.com/index.php?id=710 Companies are so diverse now it's hard to claim them solely for one country.
  14. Clean hit without any doubt.
  15. Now the other question for scrapple eaters.......... with or without syrup? Without for me.
  16. Pondscumz Shamu Mmmmmmmmmm...................scrapple. Habersetts preferred here. Thats the best brand. When cooked right, crusty on the outside, soft on the inside. Good stuff. You can get some good stuff from some of the Amish butchers around Lancaster, PA. Come to think of it some good sausage too. I sometime think that scrapple can be somewhat like a crab cake, can vary from one locale to another if you buy locally and not commercial branding.
  17. Mmmmmmmmmm...................scrapple. Habersetts preferred here. For an ethnically horrible food try Lutfisk or Lutefish, my parents being of Scandanavian heritage loved it. I tried to get out of the house if it was the meal of the day and refused to ever eat it. http://whatscookingamerica.net/History/LutefiskHistory.htm Absolutely gross!
  18. 2_MANY_BEERS Shamu OMG, is there anything nicer than Grandkids? I love mine to death and find that because of less responsibility in raising them I can enjoy them even more. Yes this is true, but when a divorce is involved it gets a little bit different. Yes I love to see my grand kids, but to have to watch them cause the father doesn't want to is 2 different things. That's all I got to say about that. Beers Most unfortunate, my sympathy especially for the kids who are innocent and deserve better.
  19. @TSW, where on the gulph?
  20. Well, not my actual boat but the model I am getting. Regal 200, 270 HP Volvo engine and mine will have a wakeboard tower. Yes, even at 68 I will be trying to wakeboard. I ain't dead yet.

  22. Sonovabich Shamu as Heff explained we are trying to manage the best we can with limited resources at the moment, a score like that in this game seems quite odd (agreed not impossible) to me, as Deejay said if he was playing as a Sniper then he would have needed to be resupplied with ammo or else is kill rate would have been 100% (even then i don't think you get that much ammo) if he was'nt playing as a Sniper then to run around them maps getting 70 kills and no deaths looks pretty strange to me, Shamu i don't think you have this game so until you experience it and see for yourself how it plays maybe you should not comment on the rights and wrongs of how we are trying to deal with these situations (if you do play the game then i apologise) but lets not forget this player as the right to appeal the ban so lets see what happens. SOB, go back and read my post, they all go back in reference to the lead post which merely accused someone of hacking without any support. They are not in reference to anything that has been or can be done from that point on. I understand in forums sometimes the thread thought gets lost because of subsequent information and comments but both of mine are clearly directed to the way the lead post was presented, nothing more, nothing less. Just read the lead post and my comments, nothing else is relative to my posts. Whether or not I even play the game is not relevant in the context of my posts, only ethics.
  23. Heffalump The big problem Shamu, and where I think in cases such as this, is there is no spectate of player mode, which means you cannot see what they are doing and how. You can be in their squad, and watch them sort of from a 3rd person view, but you only get 300 seconds, and from the view you get, it offers no real benefit other than knowing where they are from the spectator view and mini map. to get to 70-0 I do find amazing myself, as the games can be very chaotic, random and enemies come form all directions, I am not saying it is impossible, but would be hard to justify getting to that score, even sniping. And another part of the problem, as in this lead post, too often claims of hacking are made without anyone also showing proof or data about the accusation. Any claim of hacking should be supported with data to prove the claim or allow the accused to dispute the claim. An accusation of hacking is extremely offensive to the good honest player and should not be made lightly. My only point is if someone is going to post an accusation of hacking it should be supported with data or not be made in a public forum. Work privately within the XI administration and build your case from within before making a non supported public accusation. I certainly do not think any good honest XI player would appreciate being called a hacker in a public forum no more than a guest would like having it done to them. In FPS gaming it is the ultimate insult if made seriously.
  24. I just love how someone comes in and claims someone is hacking. If he is not I would hope the accusers (whiners maybe?) are prepared to offer a sincere public apology. Eventually you just get sick of hacker claims, just play the game unless proof is offered along with the accusation. Yes, I unfortunately am in a bad mood.
