Can you Play the map after reconnect? I know this from CoD4. One downloaded i can play the maps without any disconnects. Now I use the Downloader to get all maps of the current rotation to avoid this *via iphone*

Hi Morris, VGA on your 560Ti works with your monitor. Did I get that right? Have you tried to switch the input sources of your screen? Try to change it to HDMI only or auto detect. If the source is ok: does the HDMI output work when you start your PC? If yes: in Windows safe mode too?? (press F8 during Windows startup) Greetz Tec|-| *via iphone*

Hi Sany, der erste bann wurde nicht direkt von einem XI-Admin ausgeführt, sondern automatisch von Punkbuster. Basierend auf dem PB ban wurde dann manuell einer auf anderen Servern gesetzt (so habe ich das verstanden). Das ist ihr Job. Auf den Punkbuster-Ban hat niemand Einfluss. Soweit ich weiß, können die Admins den appeal unterstützen,wenn bei PBbans ein Ticket erstellt wurde. (ich kann mich aber auch irren) Ich KANN und WILL auch NICHT glauben, dass Hellboy cheatet. Er war einer der ersten, die ich "kennengelernt" habe, als ich hier das erste Mal gespielt habe. Lass die Jungs mal ihre Arbeit machen, und es wird sicher wieder alles. Klar könnten sie den Manuell gesetzen bann wieder aufheben, allerdings sollte jeder verstehen, dass sie vorsichtig sind und genau beraten was zu tun ist. Und sie möchten (und das ist ihr Recht), dass sich niemand einmischt solange die Angelegenheit nicht geklärt ist. Und wenn man anderen den Mund verbieten wollte, wäre der Thread schon längst geschlossen Ich drücke ihm alle Daumen und hoffe, dass wir uns bald wieder fraggen --- Hi Sany the first ban was not added by an Admin but automaticaly by Punkbuster. Based on the PB ban an admin added a manual ban on all other servers (that's what I understood). It's their job. They can nothing do against the Punkbuster ban. As far as i know, they can support the appeal when a ticket was opened at PBbans. (I may be wrong) I CAN NOT and DON'T want to believe that he is a cheater. He was one of the first that I have met when I started playing here. Let them do their job, and I'm sure that everything will be fine. Of course, they could remove the manual ban, but everyone should know that they are careful and will specific advice what to do. And they want (that's their right) that no one intervenes as long as this case has been cleared. If anyone wants that others completely shut up, the thread would have been closed previously. I cross my fingers and hope we'll frag us soon

Oh, i don't love Steam but i don't hate it too. Unfortunately you can not avoid it if you want to play Games like Counterstrike, CoD MW 2,3, Blackops. The Same like Origin. I own Fifa (retail), Need For Speed - Hot Pursuit (Steam) and Battlefield (retail, Origin compulsion). My Fifa and "Autolog" (NFS) accounts have been linked to my Origin acc. I HATE Origin, but i have to use it. They give a shit on your privacy. In this point Steam/Valve is much better.

Yep, i was wondering. But my optical in/out still works. On cards which have DTS locked, you can not select it in the Creative Audio Console. I still can choose between S/PDIF passthrough to connect an Amp or use the inthernal decoder and it works. The modded dirver is one from the X-Fi series. Not all X-Fi cards have DTS or DD activated and those should be marked as "DTS and DD ready". For some cards it costs $5 for others like the Titanium series it is free. What ever. As long as this card works I'll use it. But the next won't be one from Creative. In the past days I learned a lot about their politics and what the customers are worth...

(like Gainward sells tweaked grapghic cards) By the way, it's a MSI MS-7514 I think i was able to solve the problem with an an unofficial driver developed by "Daniel_K". Installed the driver and the mic works fine until now. A Creative Forum activist named Daniel K. (His real name is Daniel Kawakami who is from Brazil) modified drivers from the X-Fi and applied it to the Audigy and Live! series, restoring most if not all of the features that came with the original XP setup CD in Vista. X-Fi drivers have noticeably better sound quality under Vista, and more bug fixes because of the newer build (last modified version is 2.15.0004EQ April). He managed to enable the X-Fi Crystallizer to work on Audigy series cards in software, however because of the patents involved, he was forced to remove all the modified drivers and DLL patch. The event ended as a PR disaster for Creative as they put legal pressure on a user who had succeeded in creating working Vista drivers where Creative had failed, especially on the Creative Forum and technical blog sites. It is possible that many previously loyal customers refused to buy Creative products and turned to other brands as a result. As of July 2008, Daniel K has stopped developing modified support files for the above sound cards, most of the files were however still hosted on individual tech/blog sites. Creative has then released a newer official Audigy Vista driver (2.18.0000 as of July 28, 2008) due to public and consumer pressure. However, some form of agreement between Creative and Daniel K has been achieved, as he returned to the Creative forums, posting updated versions of his modified drivers.
