  3. Here is just one of the comments from a viewer:I also feel the same way. Double jump/flying from Halo, leash from Bulletstorm, and OP quick-scoping from BO2...what a colossal fail. As for the comment,"The Call of Duty game fans have been asking for," I think most gamers, or CoD players, realize that this is no longer a company trying to make a good game, it's a corporation try to rake in money. So, they're going to make build what they want, ignore the fans, and then tell everyone, "This is the game everyone wants!!" in hopes of getting as much cash as possible before people figure out it's crap. Ghosts is a perfect example. For the money they've spent in development, the graphics do look pretty good, and they've got A-list actors for their campaign story line, which will probably be the best part of the game, sadly. For years, CoD has been about the multiplayer aspect, and they certainly haven't listened to the "fans" in that respect. The best thing gamers can do to get their attention is not buy the game. Don't preorder, and don't buy it outright when it's released. Preorders and first-day release metrics are how they gauge the popularity of the game and how much money they're going to make on it. Leave it alone for a few months. When their investors start knocking on their door wondering where all the promised money is, maybe they'll decide to listen to gamers again. Until then, this is what we'll be left with. IMHO.

  7. The teacher gave her fifth grade class an assignment: Get their parents to tell them a story with a moral at the end of it. The next day, the kids came back and, one by one, began to tell their stories. There were all the regular types of stuff: Spilled milk and pennies saved. But then the teacher realized, much to her dismay, that only Janie was left. "Janie, do you have a story to share?" 'Yes ma'am. My daddy told me a story about my Mommy. She was a Marine pilot in Desert Storm, and her plane got hit. She had to bail out over enemy territory, and all she had was a flask of whiskey, a pistol, and a survival knife. She drank the whiskey on the way down so the bottle wouldn't break, and then she parachuted right into the middle of 20 Iraqi troops. She shot 15 of them with the pistol, until she ran out of bullets, killed four more with the knife, till the blade broke, and then she killed the last Iraqi with her bare hands." ''Good Heavens, 'said the horrified teacher. What did your Daddy tell you was the moral to this horrible story'?" "Don't Fuck with Mommy when she's been drinking."
  8. You could always say "that's me the 3rd one from the left in the front row"Unless you were actually there who would know. How strange is that?
  9. All I know and see is,a lot of companies have had cut backs on employees and wages,a lot have had no raise whatsoever, and I haven't seen any prices go down.A lot of production is now automated and require less manpower, but who saves?None of us.Now you guys will blame unions. For me the best thing that happened and for my wife also.We both retired at an early age me in 2003 and her in 2005.We both could've kept working till we were 65,but at the same time prevented some ones son or daughter having a job for the last 11 years for me and 9 from my wife, neither of us are 65 yet.So think about it.I guess you'll have to work till you drop at whatever your minimum wage is over there in the US.The wife and I have full benefits also.Plus you have to hope you make it to that age.Check the obits and see how many young people don't make it to collect one pension cheque.
  10. OLIVE I think this song is a good one for you and of course thanks for sharing your trips with us over the last 5-6 years mon ami.
  11. free trade deals..the government working with big business to kill unions..eliminating the middle class ...business paying miniscule wages and then they all wonder why can't the economy can't get going http://www.newgeography.com/content/004289-large-cities-rankings-2014-best-cities-job-growth
  12. We're already getting $11.25 here in Ontario Canada. They're going for $15.00.I guess you only need about $7/hr over in the US to survive.Except over here we all get medical coverage.LOM don't yell at me please. Those guys earning that low wage will never buy a house or have enough to retire or much of anything. That's why they have foriengers do those menial jobs cause no one in both our countries want those jobs.

  15. In World War 1, History of the United States, War and Military History When did the US enter World War 1? Answered Last The US declared war on April 6, 1917. However, it took time to mobilize soldiers for the army, and US forces were not fully engaged in France until the Spring offensive of 1918. This allowed the US forces to be engaged to the greatest effect along many of the lines of battle. After Germany lost most of its territorial gains from the early part of the war, they were forced to end the war on November 11, 1918. Although Woodrow Wilson opposed US involvement, he came to see it as unavoidable, given Germany's submarine warfare against US shipping. An attempt to draw Mexico into the conflict (the Zimmerman Telegram) also helped to sway US opinions. In World War 2, Pearl Harbor, US in WW2 When did the US enter World War 2? Answered Last December 8, 1941 was the date of the US declaration of war, but in fact the US was at war on December 7, 1941 at about 7:55 AM when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. This war, while not unexpected, was not the war the US wanted to be in because it was felt that Germany was the greater threat. Hitler didn't declare war against the US until December 11, 1941, in support of his Axis agreements with Japan. Before The Declaration US warships were involved in fighting prior to December 7, 1941. The USS Niblack attacked a German U Boat on April 10, 1941. The USS Niblack was involved in the US occupation of Iceland. And US warships provided escort to convoys to England prior to the declaration, under the Lend-Lease Act. Before the actual attack by the Japanese on Pearl Harbor, of which the Americans stated they had no foreknowledge, the US Navy attacked and sank a midget submarine trying to enter Pearl Harbor. The AVG, comprised of US pilots and P-40 aircraft, was set up April 15, 1941 by Roosevelt to provide support to China against the Japanese who invaded beginning in 1937. In June, 1941, the US (with about 3000 soldiers) occupied Iceland. Iceland had been invaded by Britain in May 1940. The Iceland government protested the British Invasion. Britain handed over the control of Iceland to the USA in June 1941. Timeline: Dec 7, 1941 Japan attacks Pearl Harbor. Tokyo declares war on US and Britain Dec 8, 1941 U S Congress adopts declaration of war against Japan Dec 11, 1941 Germany & Italy declare war on the United States Dec 13, 1941 Hungary & Bulgaria declare war on U. S. 1941 Why did Britain enter World War 1? Answered Last NovaNET answer: Germany invaded Belgium in order to march into France. Triple Entente Because Russia, Britain and France had an alliance called the Triple Entente. When Austria-Hungary invaded Serbia following the assassination of the heir-apparent to the throne of Austria-Hungary (Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria) Russia joined in to help Serbia per a separate agreement. Germany, an ally of Austria-Hungary, then declared war on Russia and France and began to move troops through the neutral sovereign state of Belgium to attack France. The British were not obliged to help the French in the event of war and did declare war when German forces invaded Belgium on August 4 1914. Britain ordered Germany to withdraw immediatly from Belgium, Germany refused and The United Kingdom declared war on Germany on the afternnoon of August 4, 1914. The Treaty of London in 1937 meant that the sovereignty of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg was guaranteed. In the event of a major European Power invading it, Britain was obliged to help defend the small nations and on August 4, when Germany executed the Schlieffen plan via Belgium and Luxembourg Britain honoured the Treaty and declared war on Germany. They were kinda forced to enter the war and they wanted to stop it faster like the Americans. In World War 2, Britain in WW2, Decade - 1930s When did Great Britain enter World War 2? Answered Last At 09:00 hrs on Sunday 3rd September 1939, the British government under Neville Chamberlain, issued an ultimatum to Germany demanding the immediate withdrawal of German troops from Poland. This ultimatum expired at 11:00hrs the same day at which point war was declared by Great Britain. France declared later the same day at about 17:00 hrs. The 3rd. September was a Sunday, and Mr.Chamberlain broadcast to the nation via the radio. At approximately 11:05 am. air-raid warning sirens were sounded in the coastal towns of Folkestone and Dover. It tured out to be a false alarm due to an unidentified aircraft seem approaching the coast, and reported by the Royal Observer Corps. I was just fourteen days short of my 11th. birthday at that time. 1939 According to these facts US joined 2 years later, after both sides in Europe were exhausted, just imagine if the war took place over on this side of the Atlantic.I sure can't and I'm glad.

  20. Here check this one out for Canadians: Jeff Smith, a Senator from Quebec, calls senior citizens the Greediest Generation as he compared "SocialSecurity " to a Milk Cow with over a million teats. Here's a response in a letter from Patty Johnstone inOntario .... I think she is a little ticked off! She also tellsit like it is! Oh sooo true! "Hey Jeff, let's get a few things straight!! 1. As a career politician, you have been on thepublic dole (tit) for FIFTY YEARS. 2. I have been paying CPP & OHIP for 48 YEARS(since I was 15 years old. I am now 63). 3. My Canada Pension payments, and those of millions of other Canadians, were safely tucked away in an interest bearing account for decadesuntil you political pukes decided to raid theaccount and give OUR money to abunch of zerolosers in return for votes, thus bankrupting thesystem and turning Social Security into a Ponzischeme that would make Bernie Madoff proud. 4. Recently, just like Lucy & Charlie Brown, you and "your ilk" pulled the proverbial football away from millions of Canadian seniors nearing retirement and moved the goalposts for full retirement from age 65 to age, 67. NOW, you and your "shill commission" are proposing to move the goalposts YET AGAIN. 5. I, and millions of other Canadians, have been paying into OHIP & CPP from Day One, and now"you morons" propose to change the rules of thegame. Why? Because "you idiots" mismanaged other parts of the economy to such an extent that you need to steal our money from OHIP & CCP topay the bills. 6. I, and millions of other Canadians, have beenpaying income taxes our entire lives, and now youpropose to increase our taxes yet again. Why?Because you "incompetent bastards" spent ourmoney so profligately that you just kept onspending even after you ran out of money. Now,you come to the Canadian taxpayers and say you need more to pay off YOUR debt. To add insult to injury, you label us“greedy" forcalling "bullshit" to your incompetence. Well, Captain Bullshit, I have a few questions for YOU: 1. How much money have you earned from the Canadian taxpayers during your pathetic 50-yearpolitical career? 2. At what age did you retire from your pathetic political career, and how much are you receiving inannual retirement benefits from the Canadiantaxpayers? 3. How much do you pay for YOUR government provided healthinsurance? 4. What cuts in YOUR retirement and healthcarebenefits are you proposing in your disgusting deficit reduction proposal, or as usual, have you exempted yourself and your politicalcronies? It is you, Captain Bullshit, and your political co-conspirators called Parliament who are the"greedy" ones.It is you and your fellow nutcase thieves who have bankrupted the Canadian Pension, OHIP and stolen the Canadian dream frommillions of loyal, patriotic taxpayers. And for what? Votes and your job and retirement security at our expense, you lunk-headed, leech. That's right, sir. You and yours have bankrupted our benefits for the sole purpose of advancing your pathetic, political careers. You know it, we know it, and now you know that we know it. And you can take that to the bank, you arrogantson of a bitch. And NO, I didn't stutter! P.S. And stop calling CPP & OHIP "entitlements". WHAT AN INSULT!! I have been paying in to the CPP system for years. "It's my money"- give it back to me the way the system was designed and stop patting yourselfon the back like you are being generous by doling out these monthly checks.
