well after 5 hours of messing with it, including giving up and starting a new database elsewhere and starting with !iamgod. I fixed it! Here is the deal in case it happens to someone else: The root of the problem I finally figured out was that MySQL service would fail to start. I even tried to start it manually within Admin. Tools/Services. *fail* After finally figuring out the right thing to type in google, the website for "mysql lists" suggested this:

Delete the 'ib_logfile0' and 'ib_logfile1' files from the "C:\ \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\data"
Afterwords, I started service and b3 database went right up.
