you are correct about the different power curves and that is probably why the recommend the turbo on the older ones. but its pretty cool mazdaspeed put so much time in these little go-carts lol

from what i read on one of the sites i didnt link. they prefer a turbo for pre 05 miatas and a supercharger for the 05+ models. something about the pre 05's dont do as well on a supercharger. will try to find the link so you can read up on it

You talking about clutch or suspension? well stage one is basically just suspension I THINK. as you get higher in stages it puts a turbo/supercharger, clutch packs, and suspension. the charger might be a part of stage one but i dont think so
