  1. i had my os only and a few core programs on a 120 had my cods and steam and uplay and those on a 250ssd but have just moved the os to the 250 and got a 500 for all the games including warships. the samsung 250 is around 77 http://www.newegg.com
  2. i actually just did some research and it seems that "The Patriot G2 Series, Division 2 Edition DDR3 memory kits are specifically designed for the 2nd Generation Intel Core processors; Intel’s 6 Series platform". so that explains alot i am going to bump the timings up to the recommended 1.65 it it doesnt hold stable i have a button that will bring it back to working specs. and if thats the case I will have some great memory for sale @
  3. these are when i built it originally and put the old 955 in it
  4. and to be honest i avtually started to look into the bios features of this board and i would screw chit up very quickly. this board is LOADED with features. you can probably program it to wipe your ass for you ROG did an outstanding job and if this board was in the hands of someone who knew how to take advantage of it damn
  5. i dont overclock at all i have no need hell i now have 8 core running at 4.0 where before i had 4 running at 3.5. the wierd thing about the memory is the timings from the board show im running 9 9 9 24 which on this memory is 1600. 7's 24 would be 1333. the memory specs show 9 9 9 24 but the board will only run it when it runs at 1333 per the controller but still shows actual timings of 1600 these memory sticks are 4 years or so old, and went through a surge that took out several components. its about time for an upgrade and as cheap as memory is these days i can get 16gb for 75ish
  6. i am running the crosshair v formula 2, 8 gb of patriot1666 ddr3. several samsung ssds and a xfx7950. my memory doesnt want to run higher than 1333 so i will be getting 2x8gb 2100 soon
  7. put the last piece of my computer build in today a fx8350 8 core. been running with the 955be quad core since i built it earlier this year. shes finally purring smoothly
  8. thank you all for the words of encouragement. the visitation was today tomorrow is the service some time after that i think it will set in and hit hard
  9. I lost my father today. He finally won his war against pain.We watched and enjoyed together, that which had us broken hearted also showed us the most amazing joy. See he told us what he saw to help ease our pain, showing us he no longer knew it. You see he finally arrived at his HOME, BEAUTIFUL HOME!!!! I say I lost my father today, but what I really found is the place he will always be. In my HEART and in his HOME, BEAUTIFUL HOME. You went with a joyous shout I Love you Dad I Know You Are Resting In Peace Phillip R. Barrow (Ronnie) Oct. 9 2015
  10. Thank you guys for all your words and thoughts
  11. he decided last night that he didnt want to live like that anymore he would rather go than to be on a machine. family was gathered around, we sang amazing grace for him he mouthed along. he reached for the ceiling when asked what he was reaching for and seeing. he said home beautiful home sooo beautiful. heaven heaven. and after that there was just a body winding down. his body finally went 12 hours later
  12. we were informed that his lungs wont hold on for much longer, a day a few weeks, if his heart doesnt give out first.
  13. thank you guys. my middle sister has stayed with him there the last 4 nights. her kids came and held his hand and talked to him today. i told him i knew he had to be scared and he nodded yes. let him know what was going on and that he was improving. that this is just temporary even though every second must feel like an eternity. he agreed. me and that sister agreed that he hasnt lost his ability to say a lot with just his looks lol.
  14. hey guys I have been holding this in for a week or so. my dad isnt doing so well. he had fluid on his lungs again so he went in sept 9 to have drained and a pleurx port installed. they released him from the hospital on the 28th. the 29th was his bd and he was still super weak. home health was coming everyday to nurse him. well by saturday he was is really really bad shape. so weak he couldnt hold his head up or say more than a few words. we got him into the er at 2pm on sat. at 330 they had decided to put him on a ventilator bc the cpap was not pulling the co2 out of his system like it suppose to. 10 mins after they vented he coded they spent about 5 mins reviving him at which time his bp shot up to 255/201 and it took about 20 mins to bring it down from there.. he is currently in the CCU still on a vent. his mind is great, might have some speech and writing issues he may need to relearn. we wont know until the vent is taken out. they have tried twice but heart and lungs couldnt handle it yet and numbers went crazy. they are hopeful he will recover but it will me many many months before he even leaves the hospital. we were informed today he is afib but due to his blood already being thin due to other things they cant do anything about it. his heart is a little hard and his lungs have seen better days. they said he acquired strep pneumonia in the hospital b4 they released him its the hap version and can only be picked up in a hospital. it is soooo hard and heartbreaking watching him and he tries to communicate what he needs or whatever and we cant understand. he is sooo frustrated and scared. I am holding up pretty well for my family under the circumstances, but it is completely ripping me apart inside
