  22. Hang in there buddy. I understand how you and your family must feel. My son was very sick last year. I learned, based on my own experience that an optimistic, casual approach to the seriousness of the situation has a calming effect and works wonders for the person who is sick. Try to figure out a way to mask your feelings, show your Dad love rather than fear or concern. Try to avoid talking about his illness in front of him and ask people who visit to do the same. Psychology is extremely important in this situations. Its just my humble opinion. Good luck, wish your Dad the very best. Joe
