yes I just installed cpu-z ROG as well same thing in bio,s 1600 mhz in windows 802 mhz why

How accurate is Speccy I noticed it says my ram is running at 802 mhz And my bio,s says it is running ram at 1600 mhz I am running Asus Crosshair V board Amd 8120 cpu 16 gig of Ripjaw X 1600mhz ram Amd R370 cpu which all show correct except ram spd in speccy

I run a XFX R370 with 4gig ddr5 its all I need everything is set to max on BF4 No problems at all

Im running a Ozc Vertex4 with 128 gig for my OS and a AMD Radeon r7 240 gig for my games I have plenty of room

I just resently went from the Nvidia 460 GTX with 1 gig ddr4 128 bit interface to a XFX AMD 370 with 4 gig ddr5 and 256 bit interface And I play BF4 Now all settings on max and it plays flawlessly I choose AMD over Nvidia do to the fact I run anAMD based board and I think Nvidia way over prices their cards Just my opinion anyways I love my new card

I use a TP Link AC1750 dual band wifi router It has 2 of the 2.4 Ghz channels and It has 2 of the 5 ghz channels I put phones and tv on 2.4 and my rig on 5 ghz works great

I have seen a PS short out while in case but never a MB but I guess its possible

I agree pull everything off board leave it in case only hook up power switch plug , power supply , video card, and 1 stick of ram you don't need anything else to boot t bio,s Oh wait here could e your problem You say a new board how about cpu is it new and has your board been Bio,s updated to handle such cpu I bought a new board and then new cpu and it would do just like yours is come to find out the board had to be flashed to use the cpu I chose so I installed the smaller cpu flashed bio,s then reinstalled new cpu worked like a charm goto board web site and see if bio,s update available and see what it fixes Hope this helps

Well for starters the easy way to test a power supply is to unplug the 24 pin connector. Make sure it Is unplugged from wall first. Then using a paper clip jumper the only green wire on plug to any black wire and leave it in and set it down. Now simply plug back into wall and PS fan should start spinning if not PS is dead. If all is good and you unplug from wall then reconnect 24 pin plug to board. Next if you don't have a ohm meter to test the power button then you can switch plug with reset button and try or use a screw driver and short pins for switch and see if it comes on.

Ok so went with the TP-Link N600 ac/750 wifi router It has dual band also I put my phone and gaming pc on the 5g connection And everything else in the house on the 2.4 connection Also enabled the guest channel my any visitors lol. Works great next I want to replace the cable modem with the Surfboard SB6141 As it looks very promising. Thanks for all the input

Ok guru,s here is the jest of it. I am using a suddenlink cable modem/ wifi router Arris DG950 supplied by suddenlink and settings locked I am looking at getting a Surf Board cable moden and a Netgear wifi router. I was reading that the independent setup was easy to do and would be a lot better than my current modem plus I will no longer have to pay the rent fee as the equipment is all mine. Does anyone have suddenlink and have they done oe heard of this.
