  1. Heres the thing about the AMD R9 series I was reading online that a lot of people running AMD boards were having problems with the R9 card and had to do a bio,s update to fix. I don't know if my board supports it Heres my specs Asus Crosshair V Formula ver 1.01 board bio,s 1703 FX 8150 Cpu with CoolerMaster Evo 212 cooler 16 gigs of Gskill Ripjaw 1600 MHz ram Amd Raedon R 7 240 gig SSD Cooler Master 850 watt PS Win 8.1 64 bit Nvidia 460 GTX video card So will it work with the R9 amd card or goto the Nvidia card both have 2 gig mem and close in sprcs. Just thought an all AMD pc might work well together.

  4. Ok my XI friends. I am looking to update my video card. I am running a amd 990 board and a 460 gtx card currently So I was thinking between the MSI GXT 750 Ti or the MSI Radeon R9 270 or the MSI Radeon R9 280 with 3 gig of mem I have reviewed several web reveiew sites and several bench marking sites as well The R9 270 beat the 750 Ti on everything except clock speed overclocking. But what I want is real world gamer opinions that have used both cards anybody got a clue. I will say with my AMD chipset and what I,ve seen so far I am leaning towards the R9 270 So what do you got for me
  5. Oh and you should not remove battery lead while vehicle is running it may damage the alternator or worse the ecm.
  6. Ok so like they told you put a volt /ohm meter on 10 amp Put the leads on the neg terminal and the battery post make sure everything is off because if you pull more than 10 amps you will blow your fuse now with the door shut you should have between .01 ans .05 mil amps if higher than that start pulling fuses and watching till it drops. I found a guys a/c relay was sticking on his Honda Ridgeline When we pulled the relay amp draw went away so we replaced his relay and all is good.
  7. Oh and its not that we are insecure about on internet it is just we work on railroad and a lot of places they put us have no internet access so we gather in on room and play
  8. Hello all. I am looking for pc games that me and my friends can play at work. The problem is we all connect to a Belkin router to play and one of the pc,s is the server. No internet access. ( private lan party) So I need to find games that do non internet games and do co-op. We play raven shield, ghost recon, any ideals, Thanks
  9. The 645 is a overclocked card exclusive to their product just as the 555GTX
  10. Im running. Asus Crosshair board Amd 8350 cpu 16 gigs Gskill Ripjaw 256 ssd windows 8 64bit Added a Netgear N dual band wireless usb Now my card is only a 460 Gtx I will upgrade that next but it runs great now Just dl-ed bf4 beta and want to test on the 1st So to the point the AMD 8350 is a good stable CPU at a good price
  11. Me cheat . Well I never. Just donrt hate me cause you aint me.
  12. Now that has to be the coolest water cooling setup I,ve ever seen. Great job
  13. If that has the v6one other thing could be the upper motor mount. It looks like a I beam. It has a center bushing that will let the beam drop down and beat on the bracket. Just look and see if bushing is not centered. If not then remove and replace or you can take a socket and a hammer an put back in place will last for awhile. Or at least that is what was wrong with mine.
  14. Well yes to answer that. Anything onboard is slower than using PCI E cards which each has its own controllers which puts less lag on your cpu. However it will not be a drastic change but it does help.

    Ram

Yes if you are only going to run 8 gig then use 2 sticks of 4 and make sure to put then in correct slots for dual or quad channel mode. This also leaves open to slots if you want to add 2 more matching sticks later . As I am running 16 gig in win 8 64 bit. No problems. But as previously stated to make sure board supports 4 gig per slot.
  16. however you will not have to reformat your drive. and most boards flash now with a simple program that will do it threw windows. But you should only flash if the update bio,s if it will fix any problems that you are currently having and you most goto website of the board you have and get the correct one or you will destroy your board
  17. Nah if that's a Saturn. the out door is a plastic shell and can be replaced without removing the door
  18. I would agree get the crosshair board it is the one im getting the Crosshair V Formula Z board and the 8250 8 core cpu
  19. Hello all if anyone know where there is a 72 thru 77 toyota celica parts please let me know. Been looking in my area there are no other cars like this which is why i got it plus was my first car. Thanks
  20. Ok so heres the thing when yo ureplaced the computer did the numbers match up. They need to match no the serial of course. The computers are programed different for engine, trans, and other options you may or may not have. As far as the gas mileage go back to the basics and check compression, a strected timing chain, egr could need cleaning as well as AFM or upper intake. Does it have adjudtable valves. Now for the low voltage most people check that with a ohm / multi meterwhich will tell you that you have 12 volts but that is unloaded. Use a test light as well. For example yuo have a tail light out and the bulb is good so you put a meter on it and you have 12 volts . You put a bulb in it and still no light volts go away. Huh so that tells you that you have a loose or corroded connection or wire. IN a nut shell since a meter has a onboard battery it will not put a load on a circuit so use a test light as well. I hope this helps
