BP has been turning away a lot of local assistance. I know the local Pensacola Beach maintenance has offered to work with PB on the best approach to cleaning the beach. I mean, this is a local organization that cleans the beach every day and has equipment to utilize. BP turned them down. Also, the marine biology school at UWF offered to give assistance on monitoring the water quality and sea life at the beach. They also got turned down. UWF is monitoring anyways. It really seems to me BP is trying its best to keep as much information as possible under wraps. Also, every “sad” attempt at stopping or controlling the current leek revolves around salvaging as much of the leaking oil as possible.

It is official…. as of today the BP oil is washing up on Pensacola Beach Florida. I took the wife and kids to the beach yesterday for one last look before the beach is fucked up. I hope there is a special place in Hell for those responsible. Even though this catastrophe is the result of an “accident”, it is known corners were cut, depth restrictions violated and officials turned a blind eye.

I remember playing Pac-Man on our Atari, connected to our Black & White 19in T.V. The color T.V. was for the adults. I wish they would bring back the wood grain veneer for consols.

I read at the Punkbuster website that the error 80252 is caused by a program using an "overlay" (Whatever that is). Programs like Xfire and Steam have them. Also, the latest Nvidia video driver could have one. Try turning off background programs.

I have this issue with COD4 & COD5. I can play 3 to 4 maps and then the game crashes to a black screen. I have to go into my Windows Task Manager to end the programs. Then I can usually restart the game and play another 3 to 4 maps. When this happens in COD4, I have to reset my graphic setting once I restart. In COD5 I will get a “qport” error a couple of times before I can rejoin the server. I think the problem is something called “Default IME”. Every time this happens and I go into the Task Manager, the “Default IME” is shown running and I have to end it along with the game in order to continue playing. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. System: Windows 7 64-Bit, 8 gig ram, Intel Quad core 2.83 ghz, on board sound, Nvidia GTX 275.

YES!!! More maps.... The Jungle maps are great, but they really kill the frame rate.

I also had to get a head scan a couple of months ago. I was having severe migraines that would make me bed ridden for days at a time. It turned out to be a lingering sinus infection, I did not know I had, that was triggering the migraines. I hope yours is similar. Take care.

Yep, break out your wallet for maps that already exist in COD4. This was the main reason for Activision/Infinity Wards decision not to have dedicated servers. The player has to pay for additional content beyond what came in the box.

There might be a proprietary updater for your laptop. I once had a Toshiba that had one. You could also try doing one update at a time to see which one may be causing the problem.
