I blame STEAM for all this server BullShit..... It is only new factor in accessing a dedicated server. COD4 and COD:WAW worked out of the box as far as getting into a server.

It is 2:27 PM Central.... The server has crashed twice in the past 10 min.

I'm gona see it.... Looks really funny.

When I was able to play, I noticed that it all depended on the server I was connected to. I could have the same ping on 2 different servers and one would run like shit while the other ran fine. It seems all the issues are on the server side.

It has been over 24 hours and no response from Steam Support. I have read it can up to 7 days to get it straightened out, possibly more due to Thanksgiving next week. I did not give my account info to anyone, I do a virus scan every day, I do not open links in e-mails….. The only new software on my computer within the last few Months is Black Ops and Steam. It seems having your account “Hijacked” is a fairly common occurrence. Also, from what I read in the Steam forums, it is fairly easy to do. Accounts have been hijacked and then sold on Ebay. There are actually YouTube videos on how to hack someones Steam Account. So, watch your ass all you new users of Steam.

I can not even play the single player!!!! You have to fucking log into Steam to play a game on your own computer, WTF. I miss the good ole days of buying a game that worked out of the package and did not require the internet to play.

I just went through the lengthy process of trying to regain access to my “Hijacked” Steam Account for COD Black Ops. Are you fucking kidding me? I just knew some shit like this would happen because of Steam. I have successfully avoided installing this “STD” of a program on my computer until they attached it to a game franchise that I love, with the exception of MW2. As time goes by, the cons are getting close to outweighing the pros with Black Ops. Now I get to sit back for a response from Steam Support. I know I am in a very long line. Worst of all, if a ban by VAC has been put on me due to this hijacking taint stain, Steam cannot lift the ban. I think they call it “Steam” because that is what spews from your ears, nose, mouth and eyes when dealing with it. Furthermore, I have actually had this account with Stem since Half Life 2. Luckily, I did not have to have Steam running to play that game. This is all due to Acitivision. The issues with that company are too long to discuss here. But, they can suck my balls.

I got kicked and then banned from TDM yesterday. The server has been full, so I do not know if I am still banned. From what I have seen and read, the ban is temporary. The only thing I think I did was blow-up my tem member RC car. The strange thing is, his tags showed up as red. The team member tags showing up as red while driveing the RC car has happened twice now.

I got this off the gameservers.com fourm: 11/13/2010 Updates for 11/13/2010 The browser is currently not showing all results again. The party that deals with the browser (daemonware) is aware of the issue and is currently working on it. On our end, we are taking a close look at certain servers in locations that has a 100% working network, but showing ping variance. Traceroutes that have been provided for each of the locations have been submitted into the networking teams at each of the locations to check on possible issues with their routing. Overall, we have been pushing over 11,000 servers servicing a peak of 105,000 players! While there are some problem servers, we are determined to get to the root cause of each and every issue that arises. If you have noticed, some of the locations are now on a waitlist which will have the actual ETA on new servers. Our provisioning department is working as quickly as they can to add additional servers to each of the locations along with additional network gear.

I have played COD7 for about 2 hours today….. The Good: I really like the new way you buy the upgrades. You do not have to unlock a bunch of crap before you get to the weapon you want. Also, the “care packages” are a nice addition. I got to man a gatling gun from a helicopter in a Team Death Match round. It was really F’ing cool. The sound is by far the best out of the (PC Friendly) COD’s. The Bad: It is laggy in all servers. A lot of people are bitching about the lag. Also, there is no way to input an IP address in the server browser to find a specific server. I have yet to find the XI servers. I will keep playing it for now. But, if they do not address the issues in a timely manner, COD7 will fall to the wayside.

Its waiting on my DVR.... I have to watch it alone. My wife does not like Horror and the kids are way to young.
