BoomSlang NO MORE LAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I played a little last night and this morning. I did not notice any lag. I even played on a full FFA server with a ping over 100 and no lag. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Funny Beers..... I have heard people are losing interest in it and going back to older models.

WOW that explains 2 things that happened to me last week.... My laptop and PC are running Windows 7 64 bit and both have AVG. My PC completely shit itself and I had to reinstall. My laptop had to do a system restore. All this after the AVG update.

She should get that checked out.....

Dark Asylumn i know in the config default dead chat and dead voice are set to 0 meaning off I set these to 1 havent noticed people chatting but it didnt affect the game so maybe i will watch to see if that allows it I found this description of "g_deadchat". "g_deadChat - This server setting gives admins the ability to allow dead players to chat with live players. Set this cvar to 1 to enable dead chatting." I know this is in the players config and the default is set to "1". So maybe the server has to enable this option. Just a guess.

"I can only hear Dead People." Why is it you can only voice chat with people that are the same same state of being as yourself? I mean, when you are running around shooting, you can only hear and talk to those not dead. Then when your dead, you can only talk and hear those that are also dead. Alot of conversations are being cut off due to getting shot mid sentence. Also, I have REALLY wanted to make fun of those that have felt the wrong end of my Tomahawk, but the dead cannot hear me. Any explination?

Maybe “Evil” was a little strong….. I mean to say, I do not think they eat puppies and kittens for lunch. But, it is very discouraging to have a game franchise lose focus on what made it great in order to make a few extra bucks. I certainly do not want to begrudge Activision of any potential profit, but when a company is run like a big corporation, the consumer becomes nothing but numbers. Also, Activision has clearly put game development for consoles over that for PC’s. So, the PC versions of these franchise games are stunted due to current console technology.

Activision has become an evil corporation. I have no doubt that add-on content will come at a fee. But, if mods and custom maps are supported, who cares. They can keep the add-ons.
