  2. close to the beta release, but still need some work i want the beta to have all the basic blocks done (maybe not all adjusted and all, but done) some needs some color work, some arent done yet. but its damn hard with the card i have, 512x textures is way too much for it :/ i have between 1 and 15 fps i may just lower the beta to 256

  4. teasing so right now im working on chests. still need some adjustments, but almost done the simple one so here it is in a quartz stone room and with sun light with shaders : without shaders : and yes the quartz stone still need a little bit of work (just the top side, u can see on the floor)
  5. this is nice, at least on paper. i would def put 30$ if it can get temps down from 80 to 45 in game. if it really does that does it ? damn its not compatible with my card

  10. they dont need a mockup before the real thing, if they want to show the world they are stupid and barbarians, they would simply show the real thing, nothing more, like they did for the others before. and again, with no camera tricks and post-prod techniques.

  13. here some more where u can really see the normal mapping but this is too much, will have to work on that, but that wont be for alpha testing. here u can really see it, part under sunlight vs in shadow and here u got different stones bricks, slabs, and end stone (greenish yellow). way too shiny for my taste (but will fix this specular mapping later)
  14. here some experiment with some shaders again, but damn its heavy on the card so what we have here is normal mapping with specular mapping in rain and night time but note this is a special shader from SEUS and its ULTRA, so really hard demanding. i have to lower distance rendering to get it to work but i just realized my java is capped again, gona change that and see if it makes a difference
  15. love this game, didnt get the mp, not sure i will, but the single player was awesome i have no mods or anything like that, just vanilla game and love it ... in winter time

  18. well, chiseled stone and slabs are done (at least for now, i may change them back later) got a big work to finish this week, but it is supposed to be done for friday. so i may work more on it this week end. i try to do at least 1 texture/day, some are really easy, some i want to put more work on tonight i may work on dirt and grass if i have some time i have a fun idea for dirt, but not sure it will be any good yet we'll see

  21. lol ok lets say this, i almost finished all basic stones textures. just need to make the slabs, and maybe make a contour for the chiseled stone. then maybe all the different sand stones then gravel, dirt and grass and maybe trees, then i will call it an alpha ready for testing so in like 1 or 2 weeks maybe 1 month depending on free time i'll get. because after all those, there are many other things to do :/ also all the different animations ... i add some animations to the ores, simple but still. its a lot of work.
  22. lol well im working on it, like i said it will take lot of time and patience before i give it to try also do not forget that it is 512 pixels textures, with shaders and maybe specular maps, so u'll need a hell of a computer to run this smoothly here small update on the stones that im working on and testing. u can see on the left the cobble, middle some chiseled stone and stone bricks on the right, all of this is hand drawing and painting and all i may still change the chiseled a bit, maybe add a contour on all edges, we'll see and here some experiment with the shaders again, but this time with specular maps to add some reflections effects to the stones, i like this
