Nice graphics card, thinking of that one. nvidia > radeon. My current radeon one can barely play cod5, won't even think of black ops till I get a new one. Though CoD2 suprisingly getting 250 avg fps.

seems nice except the power supply.

if they say standard, its not like its a well made one, and its one of those component u really dont want to act badly

i would strongly recommend to get a real good brand for this.

enermax, corsair, thermaltake, ocz,...

nice!!  i would definetly get a good PSU.... Corsair or Coolermaster....  spend the xtra money there.... its worth it ...  and as far as the video card goes, go on and spend the xtra 20 bucks to get the Palix Sonic 1 gb Gtx 460 platinum edition instead of that superclocked one u have listed!!!  check this out!! >   http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Palit/GeForce_GTX_460_Sonic_Platinum/

good looking rig...

check this one out tho... > bout the same as yours... but this is 3.5 ghz processing so its faster... and this is a dual sli card GTX 460 Sonic Platinum set up.... yes two 460 cards.... u can get this rig for 1320.00 free shipping!!!

  • CPU: AMD Phenom™II X4 965 Black Edition Quad-Core CPU w/ HyperTransport Technology [+120]
  • HDD: 500GB SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 16MB Cache 7200RPM HDD [-41] (Single Hard Drive)
  • MEMORY: 4GB (2GBx2) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Module (Kingston HyperX [+32])
  • MOTHERBOARD: Asus M4N98TD EVO AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a SLI Chipset DDR3 ATX w/ 7.1 HD Audio, GbLAN, USB2.0, IEEE1394, SATA-II, RAID, 2 Gen2 PCIe, 2 PCIe X1 & 2 PCI [+44]
  • SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO
  • VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 1GB 16X PCIe Video Card [+97] (Palit Sonic Platinum 800MHz Core Powered by NVIDIA [+20])

here is the link to it....  http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/saved/1CVL6H

comes out to 1420 but u get 100.00 in mail in rebates..... so for 70 bucks more u will have faster processor, dual cards (1gb and better cause its sonic platinum), better power supply,  better RAM with the Kingston X w/ heat spreaders. This is a bigger badder rig.... As you can see , on that above link,  The FPS for this rig is 127  on MW 2 .......   Just throwing my opinion out there... as i have done plenty of research the past 3 weeks on all kinds of rigs!!!  for the money... I just might be getting this one myself as well!!!

Lilgreasy I  agree with Cute the rig dollar for dollar is better and a better deal than the one your wanting to have built. I am assuming you want speed like I have right? Then if so go with the one he listed. You won't be sorry. My vid card is the gtx 260 nvidia and you see what I do. I have a quad and 4 gb of memory. Peeps ask me all the time why I go so fast and I tell them it's my PC and nothing else.

uhhh,.......the i7 950 is quite a bit better than the Phenom II x4.  More threads, bigger cache, and a bit more architecture optimization.  However, for gaming, it doesn't make that much of a difference as most games only utilize 4 cores.  Or less.

But that aside, the extra $70 is entirely worth it for another GTX 460.
