I have a friend that was a prison guard where he used to be held and I went there for a tour one day and stood face to face with Manson in a hallway. He looked like some short feeble old man with a swastika tattoo on he forehead. I could have dropped him with a left hook to the chin if I ran into him in a dark alley. He wasn't some great serial killer, he was able to convince young and impressionable girls that he was some kind of messiah (like the one in this article) and got them to do most of his killing for him.

I read it a year or so back and I've never seen a public speech the same way again.

 

It helps you learn how to think carefully and critically about what they are actually saying and not what they want you to think they are saying.
