Hi guys i have a problem where when I am in game it is fine for 5 mins or so it loads the map and lets me play for 3 or 4 mins then it crashes and comes up with an iw3mp.exe message saying iw3mp.exe has stopped working and the game needs to shut down.

Can any of you super duper computer  brains please help me.

By the way I am running win7 32bit

Not sure this will help you.. but I had problems with that in the past, and I always had to reload my video drivers. It may be a different problem that you are having, but this worked for me. BUT.. it would happen periodically and I'd have to reload vid drivers again..UNTIL, I did a complete reload of COD4. Since the reload I no longer have the issues. (I also upgraded my vid cards around the same time as the reload.. so that may have made it more stable)

 

So, you could try reloading your vid drivers, and possibly that will buy you some time. Try that first. If you continue to experience it, a COD4 reload could solve the issue.

Thank's PT-Bama I have downloaded the latest drivers for my GPU so hopefully that will do the trick. I was still running with the drivers on the disk so they were a little out of date.

I should have known better Embarassed
