The "Chat Control" plugin could cause a slight, but noticeable tps drop. The cause behind this is due to the frequent use of in-game chatter. Each time a player submits text into the chat it's then analyzed by the chat plugin due to how Bukkit has developed the API. ** COMMUNITY ** The spawn is one of my biggest concerns, especially when it comes down to the layout. I respect the design and how it plays out but overall it's a huge mess and quite confusing especially if the player is new. The rooms are quite large with almost no guidance to corresponding rooms within the building. ( I can speak more on this topic another time with in-game staff ) For the banned items list I would recommend multiple areas with the mods on display. Instead of computers possibly a larger room with descriptive writing describing why it's banned. Also include a written book for new players that include all the mods inside the book that are banned so there won't be confusion. ** CONTRIBUTORS (Donating) ** When it comes to the contributors within the server we are quite limited. If a player tends to donate it usually shows that they have a lower chance of being malicious towards the server since they've spent money. Thus being said, some of the less dangerous disabled/banned mods(items) should be removed for the contributors as well. This list could contain (and not limited to) the following: 1 Quarry (Use only in MINING WORLD)1 Chunk Loader (Restrictions would still apply) More or less could be implemented but this is to just show what I'm talking about. Depending on the Item Ban plugin there could be a few different ways to implement these items in. The staff could either disable the crafting of items and put them in a "contributor" only shop where they can purchase 1 of the item then the item is closed, they could also implement it into a "one-time" only kit within essentials containing the items, or allow them to craft it with the restriction of only one or ban. ** PLAYERS ** Within the game players usually tend to build up multiple hours whilst playing. Using these hours the players could be awarded with a new in-game rank depending on how many hours the user has collectively built up. Many servers do this already and adding this server would give something players could potentially strive towards. ** DISCLAIMER **I understand this post is messy and such, I just wanted to get the point across Edited July 1, 2016 by Hyper_Realist

You raise some good points, that I would like to look into (with the other admins).I'll be indisposed for a few more days, then I'll look at this again.Maybe one of the other admins can do something with this before then. Couple thoughts on what you have here. Donators: there are heavy restrictions on how donations can affect the player experience. a big one of those restrictions would be no tangible in-game benefit to donating, and a relaxed ban list would definitely count as an in-game advantage. another thing to consider, is the chunk loaded and quarry are really not needed since we have ender quarries and personal anchors. Players: adding some sort of ranking system for hours played does sound cool, but I suspect it would require another plugin, introducing yet 1 more thing to cause lag and/or not interact properly with the modpack. so maybe, but doubtful. Spawn: to be honest, I have yet to see a well laid-out spawn that people actually take the time to see everything. could ours be better? maybe, but not going to happen until the next server reset. as for the banned item lists, most servers don't even gives reasons why they ban what they ban. fact is, 95% is banned for griefing or lag, and the rest is for stability. a book given to new players with a list of what is banned is a nice idea, but becomes 1 more thing that has to be updated every time something is added. maybe if some many people were not ass-hats and trying to ruin other peoples fun, we could have less stuff banned. oh well. One that explains the rules and maybe list the banned items as well. A welcome book i guess the first time you join the server. LadyIngvild 1 Awards

Dimensional doors is an interesting mod, but I really like the ability to create pocket dimensions. not such a big thing on the PvE server, but on the PvP server it would give a nice place you can protect with towny to make a shop, and yet not advertise the location in the overworld. just my 2 cents Awards
