Has anyone build a pc in the deepcool tristellar case? My girlfriend is thinking about going for it. I'm going to build the pc, but I'm curious to see if someone has some experience with that case? :)

I did a few mini-itx cube builds nothing like that case though.

the 2nd biggest problem besides space was the lack of fan headers on the motherboard for cooling. I used a corsair cpu water cooler and had to get a hub for the case fans. they are pretty cheap online about 10 to 20 us dollars each. the "Y" cables do not work on the fans don't waste you money on them

Note:

I wonder what kind of pci adapter they are using to relocate the graphics card up top on that thing...make sure it can handle pci ver 3.0 to be safe before buying that case

it seems they got a ribbon cable connecting it they got a decent review (well at least on 6-2015 when the video was made ) your case is about 4 mins in

Yeah, that was my first problem that I thought at first. But I think we might plug some water on that badboy, but the real problem is getting the graphics card cool... But we might do some water on that aswel.. But thanks for makeing me aware of the problem.. But yeah, we are also talking about makeing some changes to the case it self, like putting a window or something on the side of the case.

I've seen these kind of cables before, but never used them ? I wonder if it has any impact on the performance on the graphics card?

yea water coolers usually take 2 spots...pump and fans so make sure the motherboard you choose has 4 or 5 fan headers. I am not sure if you can run a gpu cooler off  of a hub

dual water would be a beast for sure :)

I can only assume there are riser cables for the graphics cards.

You lose upto 10% performance using a riser cable so that's something to be weary of, and if you try SLI, you may have issues.

That's at most. Some benchmarks are negligible but over time it degrades, and others there's a straight loss from the start. Depends on card and riser cable.

Hmm.. That's good to know Netphlix. I'll take that intro consideration.. But maybe we can make something work without the cable.. :)
