What OS are you running? Are you running xfire when it happens? I get this same message when I get kicked and also the one "resource cycled out" but only when I forget to turn off xfire in cod4, it does not do it in cod1 cod2 or cod-uo. And does not happen when xfire is off. Sunday in our freezetag tourney, I had to ask Shadowlady to hold up the match after she restarted the server for the match and everybody's clothes turned bright white and my gun started auto-reloading when it was already loaded. (forgot to turn it off). Once in battleship map, whole screen went black and everybody turned bright red! (took a video of that one and offered it to xfire with no response) I still have 32bit xp and I have read that it happens with lots of people with the xfire, nvidia, 32bit combination in CoD4.
