This is normally a conflict between the GFX drivers and the Xfire Overlay, check to make sure your using the most recent version of your GFX Drivers and if you are, then try rolling back the drivers to the previous version until you find one that plays nice with xfire

In Xfire, go to tools, then options, then in the window that opens, click the "Xfire-In-Game" tab and take the tick out of the box for "Enable Xfire In Game" Try starting up your game again with Xfire turned on and see if this solves the issue, This will turn off the Xfire Overlay in game which has been causing quite a few people problems lately, it does mean that you won't be able to press Scroll Lock and X to open xfire but does give us an idea of what the problem may be,

Hi Nitro, This does sound a bit suspicious and was probably a name changing aimbot or something similar, If your a regular player in our servers then feel free to add our game admins to xfire, then if anything like this happens again you can get an Admin in there straight away, All admin's xfire addresses are listed on the homepage in the "Adm Xfires" tab -
Certain maps can be more laggy than others, I seem to remember one on the Ace mod that virtually nobody could play because it lagged for everyone,

Heads Up Guys and Gals, I just finnished a new website theme for BFBC2, you can select it by using the Change Skin drop down in the Welcome User Box, I will also set this one as the default theme for a few weeks too, see which people prefer, I've tried to make it as similar to the menus and colour scheme of the game as possible so for all those BFBC2 players out there, have fun with it P.S. Feedback would be nice too P.P.S For those that dont have the game, the following images are screen shots from the menu's and settings screens

Ray, this isnt an issue with getting Xfire to appear as an overlay in game, this is an issue that you cannot add our BFBC2 servers to your Xfire Favs, I have the same problem too and have all available updates for Xfire, Any more sugestions ?

Mine does the same thing on Win7 64bit, only since the last xfire update though
