The cut and paste thing in firefox is actually the correct way that a browser should work, it's EI that is wrong, A website should never have direct access to your browser clip board from a simple right click, it should always be user interaction through the keyboard that allows for Copy/Paste The simplest way to explain that is that whever you would normally "Rigt Click then Copy" simply press CTRL and C on your keyboard and wherever you would normally "Right Click then Paste" simply hit CTRL and V instead, The Link thing is a plugin that was added to automaticly detect a link in a users post and turn it into a clickable link, you should see that when you hit your return key it gets formatted as a link but you can also click backinto the link and edit it's properties by clicking the text then clicking the smal image of a chain in to toolbar that should be lit up, this let you change the properties of the link like if it's to be opened in the same window or a new window etc These are all actually default features of te Editor that we use Dammit Nutsucker, beat me to it ....

Sonovabich - Can't find my usermaps folder...help! Re-installed my win7 about 4 or 5 weeks ago and ever since i cannot find my usermaps folder for any cod game, i am now getting to the stage where i have a lot of maps, probably a couple of versions of many of them, i need to be able to find them so i can delete all the crap, the path i always used to cod4 was C:\users\my name\appdata\local\virtual store\program\files\activision\usermaps and cod5 c:\users\my name\appdata\local\activision\codwaw....i have my UAC on and both paths exist but after i click activision no usermaps folders show up, also after i click activision if i click my profile on cod 4 it only shows one profile ie Sonovabitch even though i have at least 4, obviously these maps are going somewhere, i have tried everything i know ie typing in maps etc or cod nothing i do seems to be able to locate them, it's as if my activision folder is acting as a front and hiding the other maps away from view, any ideas would be gratefully received. Make sure that you have the latest version of the downloader, in the downloader options, check the option for "UAC" settings and make sure there is a tick in the box for UAC Enabled on COD4 and COD2 if you have COD2, Then click on "File" in the top left corner of the Downloader and choose "Housekeeping", This will open up the Housekeeper, choose the game you want to perform housekeeping for in the drop down menu, this will open up two windows, the left window is a list of files that are currently required by the servers you have selected in your server settings, the list on the right is a list of all files you currently have on your PC, any files/folders that have a tick in the box already are files/folders that are no longer required, to remove them, just click the button that says "Remove Selected Files", this will then place all selected files into your recycle bin It doesnt matter that a lot of the files were there from before the downloader, the housekeeper will check all files/folders regardless of when they were downloaded

Use the downloader Kev, as long as you have it configured correctly it has a Housekeeping feature that will remove any maps that are no longer used in our servers

Glad you like it Sam, hopefully sould at least give you a way to get online while your in and out of hospitals etc, and hopefully because it's a netbook and quite compact, it shouldn't be too difficult to pack/hide while your not using it, And a huge thanks to Ronnie for making the delivery, i'll post up a post in the next few days naming and thanking all those that contributed to this, although I do have 2 email addresses that didnt atatch any notes or let me know who they were so i'll post these up aswel, Thanks again guys

There is no button, to add an atatchment, simply write the text that you want to use as a link, then highlight the text, click the Link button as if you were turning the text into a hyperlink, then where you would normally write/paste the URL, hit the small button to the right side to upload your file in the same way that you would for an image Example: This is my link

Probably not, I can't seem to get any time to take the COD4 Map Admins through the downloader manager, I'll do any needed updates later this afternoon

It does seem to have some issues, it looks like it's somehow limiting the allowed queries to the TS server, some times it gives an error that it's unable to connect

Yes thats quite easy to do, I'll have a think about this and probably include it in the next update of the downloader

Anyway, I dont think we will see any mod tools in the near future if ever at all, Activision and Micro(wankers)soft will make damn sure that they screw us for every penny they can do before they will ever release any kind of mod tools, or maybe even do it like apple have done with the IPhone where they have to "Authorize" any maps or mods before we can run them on "Our" servers because we cant stop them from removing them, it's total bullshit, as sad as it really is, the game is nothing more than a console port yet again, yes we do have dedicated servers but have no control over them whatsoever, and were lucky if they stay up online for more than 3 rounds without crashing, the game runs like shit for 80% of people that have bought it, I'm so fuking angry with this game its unreal, but even more Angry with myself for falling for what is nothing more than a good sales pitch when they announced the features of BO Once again !! ph4nt0m FUCK YOU Treyarch, I will never buy extra maps or mods from you, you can suck my right testicle while i'm singing "She'll be coming round the mountain" before that will ever happen

I really cant believe we all fell for this, the only reason that I bought the fucking stupid game is because of the promice of dedicated servers and mod tools, We have ZERO control over the servers we pay for other than being able to define a mod to use in the control panel or adding/removing a ban from the ban list, I wouldnt be suprised to see "Pay To Play" Mods eventually too, As I posted some time ago, they have the perfect delivery system for "Paid" mods and maps throught steam and also the perfect server provider who have implimented pretty much a total restriction on us being able to access the game server itself with Gameservers.com, lets just face facts, we bought into a lot of Bullshit from Activision and Treyarch just so they could make their millions AGAN !!! simplemod400 huh, i installed mine on drive d: and its in the players folder where he was looking at first. win7 x64, with UAC on. maybe it's just cause i installed it on a different drive from the OS. Yes it is, with UAC turned on, the program files folder is a protected folder, meaning that no software can write to the program files folder unless it is running with Admin rights, because you have installed on a different drive than your OS, the folder it has installed to is not protected by UAC
