  1. I will disagree on part of this.... if you go to an AA meeting, it is run by alcoholics. Alcoholics understand better than anyone. Hanging with someone who is depressed and giving good advice or just support is great therapy. This Idiot talking to you Idiots is good therapy as well. Spread the knowledge... if you have insight on something.... it can help someone big time. I agree hxtr. I remember how shut off from my family and friends because they didn't understand nor did they want to. When I talk about my situation its not to get attention but to let people know there is a world out there that is detached because society a=has put them in a back room out of site and that way we don't have to be reminded about the people that got that way because shit happened to them that was more than their minds could handle. This makes a great way for us to support each other. If you don't wanna read it that's your decision not mine! Urrrh, I doubt AA is run by alcoholics, but rather ex alcoholics. Otherwise no-one would go. Now I am not an alcoholic so this is simply hearsay on my part. I believe AA teaches that there are no ex alcoholics just recovering ones. So if that is indid is the case alcoholics is running AA and its that fact that brings other alcoholics to their meetings!

  3. If it wiggles I will look. If it giggles I will smile! If its tasty I will taste! If its soft I will hold.

  4. I use to think people used it to get out of their responsibilities just as you seem too, but when it hit me MY EYES were opened so wide I could look into anybody elses mind if they spoke to me. I knew how they felt without them telling me! I can't do that anymore unless I feel that same mind freezing pain that hurts worse than any physical pain you can imagine. I never ever want to go back to that! Shamu IT IS REALLLLL!!!!!
  5. Ruso I really do understand the feeling of being separated from society even in a large crowd. I have felt that for years and had no idea that I was heading down a dangerous road. For years I just kept all my feelings hidden and out of site! I am 57 years old now and about 3 yrs ago it all came to a head. My favorite lil dog died prematurely and the wife left me directly after that and decided she was gay! We weren't happy and this finally gave us the strength to do what had to be done. I had major issues while working and my boss was very understanding and wanted me to keep working but I hurt way to bad to do that. I devised a plan to end it for me but when the ex tied to kill herself I saw what the effect was on our kids who are all adults, so I couldn't do that to them. I decided to go to school after I quit work but was bad enough that I couldn't handle the stress from that. I had to go the hardest road I have ever walked before and now 2 years after the divorce I am happier than I have been in years and I have been ale to reach many through my experiences. One thing I have noticed is I am more open and honest about myself and who I am than ever in my life. If you ask a question make sure you are ready for the answer because you will hear my honest answer. Council be be very careful. You very well know the dangers of saying the wrong things. God bless you for helping.
