Did you upgrade from xp/vista or did you do a clean install?
Have you done all your upgrades? (windows, sound, Video)
Have you checked your error logs to see what codes it is throwing out?
and i have to ask is this a cracked copy or store bought?
also there is this fix.
Click Start.
In the Search Bar, type regedit and press Enter.
Locate the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions
In the right pane delete this subkey: MachineThrottling
Turn your computer off and back on for the change to take effect.
But this is a old fix for your problem, they have since released a update for it.
This an honest clean install and I purchased with a key code. Will try this Kash, thanks!
Well kash there is no subkey: MachineThrottling it says:Default REG_SZ (value not set)
and nothing more!
