I personally use it for quick access to games and to see who is on, + it gives players quick access to an Admin if something is amiss. Its a free program, been using it for years and in my personal opinion, it should be manditory. Just my opinion.

General, This I see has been a stressful past couple of days for you. I think you have made a quick decision in reguards to your outcome as a member. You have been a member a long time. I wish you would have thought it more thru.

Hate to see you leave over this Gen. I think the videos show obvious cheating. If this was my friend i think i would call him a dumbass, still be his friend and continue having fun with the XI clan without him. Stay in touch on xfire and good luck.

OMG i remember a very long time ago years that is i stood up for my freind when he was in the same boat. me and my son stood up for his rights and made it all good took along time and many days of BULLSHIT from members. but in the end he was made a member and is a great person. so what i am trying to say is if you throw in the towl this early you must not trust your so called freind. so move on and be happy i wish you the best SR.

Im sorry to hear that you wish to make that choice General. You unfortunately put us in a very precarious position. Our rules are here to make this a fun gaming experience for everyone. I wish you would reconsider. If not, I wish you all the best.

Extreme, in case you missed the post on this subject a few weeks ago, there is no way a trip wire or mine can be placed directly on a spawn spot, and as long as you aren't tripping the only exit from a spawn spot it is perfectly acceptable. I also wouldn't complain too much about spawn raping. 99% of the time when I get shot as I spawn it's by you, which is probably part of the reason you win every single map when you play.

The admin team got together and we have made a list of maps that are up for deletion. Now these are ONLY up for consideration. We want to give you all the opportunity to voice your thoughts in an open forum concept. Please feel free to add your opinion.
 
We also feel that time is a factor since the current rotation is a mess, and changes are required.
 
Note; If any maps are not listed below that are on the current rotation, they will remain.
 
The Maps in RED are the ones we are considering for deletion. We also are adding an addtional shootie maps and one pistol ( 2 shootie & 1 pistol total).
 
Blimp Cottage will be reset as a regular map.
World Cup will be reset as a Shootie.
DeadEnd will be reset to a Shootie and if not Cheesy to be reinstated.
Add: Shipment as a Pistol. (If possible, to be comfirmed with Rugger)
Add: Winter V2 (If possible, to be comfirmed with Rugger)
Add: Pripyat, Chernobyl (If possible, to be comfirmed with Rugger)
Add: Currahee Al Badi, Iraq (If possible, to be comfirmed with Rugger)

Frenzes - Large arena little to no cover
Gob_Arena - small map with cover but a really shitty map
killingzone - same as above
secretairfield - this is probably the worst spawn killing map we have.
Street_Susux - small with 2 building on opposite sides of a mine field. More condusive to TDM
Volga - small map, little cover
Dark_Forest_rain - large rectangular map with scattered trees for cover
Dark_Forest - same as above only in day light. Perhaps should be remove

Hill 24 - Spawn point issues.

Freeman - huge map with many industrial buildings for cover

Destiny - Spawn Point issues.

Hawkeye Aim - Spawn point Issues.

JS Aim - Spawn Point Issues.

I realize that your biggest complaint is (or was) the fact that there were two maps that you and Glove didn't particularly like to play on, and you wanted the ability to vote on maps. Now it's been a couple weeks, and the two maps you guys didn't like have been removed from the rotation (this even though many other players enjoyed those maps), and we have the ability to vote and choose which map comes up next.
 
It may not look like much of a problem to you guys when you're playing in the evening and the servers are quiet, but during the day when the servers are running at near capacity, the map voting system is getting to be a pain in the ass. I was playing for a couple hours last Sunday and Toujane came up 5 times within an hour. I fought the urge to change the map and finally just left. About 90% of the time most of the players don't know what a map is based on the name on the voting list and just vote randomly. Others have favorites and vote for the same maps over and over again, while other players don't vote at all and will let a couple people decide what maps are played.
 
We have a large number of maps that are small with all weapons and nades. They quickly turn into a clusterfuck of spawn killing. Rugger changed the blimp cottage map to shotties (thanks Rugger) but it was actually one of the decent maps for all weapons and now it kind of sucks with shotties, and the other little maps are still all weapons. That wa_wa3 map seems to come up all of the time, and I win it with scores of 250+ more times than not simply by holding down my fire button and running around like a fucking idiot. Just because I win it doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see it removed or changed to shotties or pistols. It is a mindless piece of shit map that requires absolutely no skill. You don't have time to think or talk with other players, just run and gun and die. If Pete changed maps it was more than likely because one or more of those small maps were getting played a lot.
 
Rather than asking for aplogies, you might want to tone it down a notch and simply say thank you for putting up with this fucked up system we're dealing with at the moment (that you asked for) and doing our very best to improve for the majority of players as quickly as possible.
 
I agree with Pete and Bart. I'm also seeing more complaining and whining than I've ever seen before, and from people that don't normally complain about anything.

I have fibre here at home in NB, ping around 60- 80, took new laptop to BC 2000+miles away, wifi. Same ping. Go figure. I blame HXTR , silly HXTR, he broke the internet, sob
 
 

all right girls and boys it's time to put your big pant's on and suck this up as a fuck up. i have been around over 6yrs and we see this kinda thing happen every year. the SR admin team works with the admins and gets to the bottom of all the BULLSHIT going on outside of game. for all you new members strap your belts on tight and wait till the next train wreck. again all the great admin team had to take time out of there gamming time to fix this BS. thanks to you all and i am drinking a beer for each of you. Great job.

Nothing wrong with a few small maps...spawning on your own nades is priceless, spawning on fire a real riot. Remember that many times there's only 3 or 4 people in there so a small map is not so small... There's a few maps I could do without but I stay in the game so others may enjoy, 'cause it may be their favorite and I respect that and do not complain. Rugger and Company are doing a wonderful job! I think it sucks and takes too long to go to the next map.
 
It seems to me that the whole server was changed for three people.
 
Most of the maps are cluster f***s and just a bunch of spawn killing........
 
That is my opinion only......carry on.
 
P.S......When you have a player that whines and moans about getting spawn killed.... and then goes right ahead and steps 5 steps back from a spawn point, lays down and fires point blank into the spawn area, then finishes the map with 230+ kills all the while hooting and snorking about what a great map that was.........why.... I'll ban the fucker the next time I hear him whine about spawn killing....
