  1. kind of an item more like full fledged item If Bob keeps tampons under your bathroom sink, you're an item.
  2. He probably gets a new truck every few years because his Depends leak through to the seat.
  3. And I'll be damned if it didn't make the news. http://money.msn.com/now/post--102-year-old-man-buys-his-16th-ford-pickup
  4. That picture must hold some kind of record for creating the most jokes. I've seen it on at least 10 different ones.
  5. I know it was a joke DA. Hence, the smiley face after my post.
  6. Yes, as a matter of fact we do. Contrary to what Google and Mozilla want you to believe, IE is still on a shitload of PC's around the world. The only place I have trouble using IE is this web site.
  7. I made a rather long post yesterday requesting a tracert test for COD2 players to see if changing our game server to a different location might help with ping issues many of us are experiencing. For some strange reason the post I made yesterday can't be openend by many of us who use Internet Explorer, but can be opened with Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. For those of you who wish to perform the test and post the results here, send me a PM and I will forward the instructions to you for performing the test. I'd rather do that than post them here again and possibly have this thread unable to open. Thanks, LOM
  8. Happy birthday Animal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Welcome aboard Kitten. Meow.......
  10. It looks like some people who use internet explorer are having trouble reading this thread. I'll see if I can re-post it so it works.
  11. LOL, I don't know what I did because I can't access it either. I've had the problem before on a few posts and was surprised to find I couldn't access my own post unless I use Firefox instead of internet explorer. Strange shit indeed. Thanks for posting your test beer.
  12. I think that's Loader heading for a family BBQ.
  13. Damn Bart, it looks like changing to the Dallas server would cut your ping in half. You're already too damn lucky, we better re-think this.
  14. That's strange Loader, you're only getting one hop item in your test. I get a dozen on mine. It's like you're plugged right into the game server and still have a shitty ping.
  15. I’ve been talking with Rugger for the last couple of days about the high ping issues that many of us have been experiencing (especially in the western US) and he has been working with our server host to try and resolve these problems. Our current hosting company has our servers in Chicago, and they have additional servers in the Dallas TX area. We are considering switching to the Dallas servers to see if it would improve the ping issues, but not at the expense of everybody else who isn’t having the same problems we are out west. There are some tests that each of us can run on our computers that would help determine if the move would be beneficial to us in the west without hurting the ping for those of you who currently reside closer to Chicago than we do. The test we need you all to perform is called a “traceroute” or “tracert”. In a nutshell what it does is trace the signal from your PC to the game server, and can show where the signal might be slowing down and causing a high ping. I need as many people as possible (especially those in the west) to run this test and post the results here on this thread so we can see how a server change will affect us all. I realize that many of us are computer challenged, so I’ll make the instructions as detailed as possible without confusing the shit out of you. 1. Click the start button on your desktop then click “run”. 2. Once you click on run a small box will pop up. 3. In the space provided that says “Open”, type CMD then click OK. 4. Now a black command prompt box will open. To the right of the right carrot, type the following: tracert 8.9.37.132 then hit the enter key on your keyboard. This command will create a map of how the signal goes from your computer to the COD2 DM server in Chicago. It will probably take no more than 30 seconds and at the bottom will say “trace complete” when finished. 5. Now you’ll need to copy and paste this information here so we can all see it. The way you do that is to right click on the bar at the top of the command prompt box, go down to edit, then select all. Once you click select all the black box will turn white which indicates everything in there has been selected. 6. Now right click again on the bar at the top of the box, down to edit, then click on copy. All of the information in that box has been copied, and all you need to do to paste it here is reply to this topic on the message board, then right click and paste it here. It doesn’t matter if the data is formatted properly, we can figure out the rest. 7. Now we need to repeat steps 4 through 6 again, only this time we will enter the IP address for the new server in Dallas. So at the bottom just below where it says trace complete, type the following: tracert 68.232.164.55 then hit the enter key and do exactly as you did in the steps above to copy and paste the data here. Sorry for the long-winded post, but this information is very important and hopefully will help to get things running more smoothly. If you have any questions just post them here and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks, LOM
  16. You're right Greg. Whenever I'm upset Beer comes over and we spoon. Oh wait, you were talking about real beer? Forget I said anything.
  17. You can't fool us Window. You were hiding in a corner sucking your thumb and crying for the entire round while the others were looking for you. PS: I found video of it.
  18. It's nice to see pictures of some of our more prominent XI members enjoying a day out shopping.
  19. Sorry I wasn't there, you would have come in second.
  20. Which (hopefully) had a lot to do with my miserable score.
  21. As I recall you were doing pretty damn good FC.
  22. Although I didn't get to participate as much as I would have liked because of ping issues, there were a lot of people playing COD2 this weekend. There was a great crowd on the TDM server both mornings at times, and last night (Sunday) the DM server was full up with 18 players. Glad to see people there in high numbers again, and we're seeing some faces that haven't been around much lately which is always great. Personally I think more people are playing because Pete is on vacation, but that's just my personal opinion.
  23. Hope you have a great birthday Rugger.
