  1. As a Brit I'm sure the Spitfire is your favorite, but most of us Yanks prefer the P51 Mustang. Both planes have the same power plant but damn, those Mustangs sure are sexy. A man in my town owns a completely restored Mustang and frequently flies it. The sound of it approaching on a low and fast strafing run always brings me out to watch it fly by. When I hear the roar of the engines going by I can't help but feel like a little kid at an air show.
  2. Rest assured Nick, it was intended as an insult.
  3. Ok Cheese, I'm beginning to question your grasp on reality. That video was just fucking strange.
  4. Yeah, if anybody deserves the death penalty it is that shitbag.
  5. The biggest thing that keeps me from camping too often is the fact that every single time I decide to lay low and wait for a person to walk by, my attention is diverted for a split second and the person that walks by kills me instead. Why bother waiting around to get killed when I stand a better chance of killing somebody else running around?
  6. If the person is in an area of a map where he can't be shot but can shoot others it's a glitch. If he's in a position where you can't see him because of a bug in the map design (like inside of a box), but he can shoot you while being concealed it's a glitch. Laying down over stairs is not a glitch, it's camping. Some players know all of the hiding spots and how to get to them. If you're in a crowded game and spend all of your time jumping on walls, hiding in trees and walking across wires, you're wasting valuable time and probably won't get a high score unless you're camping on a spawn location, in which case the rest of us take great pleasure killing your lazy ass.
  7. Terry if you don't want to do it this year Window and I were thinking of putting a tourney together near the end of the year. We could probably name the tourney after you but I can guarantee it won't be in a way that you like. First place could be a book with your memorable political quotes and honorable mention prizes would be autographed picture of POP in speedo's.
  8. A 92 year old Kentucky man (WW2 Vet) dropped an intruder with a single shot from a 22. Kids today don't seem to realize that some of those "old" people they intend on robbing killed dozens or many dozens of people during the war, and won't hesitate to pop a cap in their stupid asses of they get scared or pissed off. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/09/04/13664055-wwii-vet-92-kills-intruder-with-single-shot-in-kentucky?lite
  9. Welcome to the forums Jack.
  10. Keep fighting Jack. I know that letting go sometimes seems better but you have a lot to live for. Be strong and we will be sending many positive thoughts your way.
  11. I need one that size in full auto to deal with Pete's shottie hacks.
  12. Such a shame. A talented actor and much to young to go. http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/michael-clarke-duncan-dead-54-green-mile-actor-dies-months-suffering-heart-attack-article-1.1150806 Michael Clarke Duncan dead at 54: ‘The Green Mile’ actor dies nearly two months after suffering heart attack The 6-foot-5, 300 pound actor appeared in dozens of films, including such box office hits as 'Armageddon,' ''Planet of the Apes' and 'Kung Fu Panda.' LOS ANGELES — Michael Clarke Duncan's fiancee says the Oscar nominee for "The Green Mile" has died while being hospitalized following a July heart attack. Publicist Joy Fehily released a statement from Clarke's fiancée, the Rev. Omarosa Manigault, saying the 54-year-old actor died Monday morning in a Los Angeles hospital after nearly two months of treatment following the July 13 heart attack. The 6-foot-5, 300 pound Duncan appeared in dozens of films, including such box office hits as "Armageddon," ''Planet of the Apes" and "Kung Fu Panda." Duncan had a handful of minor roles before "The Green Mile" brought him an Academy Award nomination for best supporting actor. The 1999 film, based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, starred Tom Hanks as a corrections officer at a penitentiary in the 1930s. Duncan played John Coffey, a convicted murderer.
  13. I know you haven't Joe, but others have.
  14. We tend to forget sometimes that cod2 and technology are awesome things. I would have never imagined when I was a little kid that one day I would be able to play games on a computer "online" using the "internet" , become an XI member and interact with other players all over the place. It's a freaking privilege, So...who cares if the campers do camp, I think the issue is more about spawn killers than campers themselves. Now, having say that , I must say that I agree with Glove. Some maps like Death Valley do suck, but since some idiots like them they should probably stay. The problem is that Death Valley with 3 or less players and late at night is an invitation to leave the server imho. Whenever you have a big map, regardless if it's "Valley Summer" or any of the others, when there are a small number of players I've always found it easy to just pick a spot with the other players to battle it out. I've played Valley Summer with three people and we all fight for control of the end of the bridge with the ladder to the tower. It's still fun and much better than not playing at all. We all have very subjective opinions on what maps are our favorites and it usually revolves around whether or not we play well on those maps that makes them our favorites. We will never have a case where everybody loves every map, so we need to suck it up and just put up with it, or take a break during those maps we don't like. Personally I can't stand the small maps with shotties only because I suck so bad at them. Everybody is different. Changes to map rotation won't happen when only a couple people don't like a map. If you have a majority of people that's different. In the case of Valley Summer (from what I've seen) most people enjoy playing it.
  15. Have you tried Q-Tips?
  16. What's the error you're getting? Can you post a screen shot or tell us what it says? Sounds like you're getting conflicting iwd files and may need to remove some of them.
  17. How many years older than you am I anyways ? Ya Spanky was what she scraped off the sheets I was told. LOL +1
  18. I have screen shots and I'm not afraid to use them.
  19. TDM patch? If you have all of the updated patches for COD2 you should be able to play TDM. You just need to download the maps which happens automatically when you try to enter the game. Or if you prefer use the downloader on this website.
  20. It would depend how many rounds I have in my AK-47.
  21. Happy birthday wolf. Hope you have a great one.
  22. Looks good, maybe a little smaller. I keep meaning to re-size mine.
  23. I played it last night with a dozen others and had a blast. No it's not a run & gun but it's a good combo map.
