Years ago I owned a Marlin bold action 12 ga goose gun with a three shot clip. The barrel was so fucking long you could practically knock the birds down without shooting. Thats the gun....its called the goose gun....it is freaking soooo long....it was a gift to me from a friend who hunted water fowl with it....I was always going to take it to the range to play with it...it is missing the clip which is available on the internet for more than the gun is worth..lol...but one day i'll shoot it at the range and if it hits well i;ll splurge.... Oh I can promise it will do well at the range. I took it to a turkey shoot when I was like 15 and completely erased a target with it at 50 yards. Because of the barrel length it holds a very tight pattern for a long distance compared to most shotties. But they were made to be inexpensive and I can imagine the clip is really expensive.

It's funny how we start jobs that we don't really like but end up doing them for years or decades because nothing better comes along. I went to work for my dad at age 23 in the insurance business, and swore after a year of that I would not spend the rest of my life sitting behind a desk, I hated it. Well, I finally got out of it almost 30 years later and doing what I love. I made good money and wound up owning the company, but I got lazy & fat and wish I had been doing something more exciting all of those years.

When I was 15 my first job was going to be bussing tables at a restaurant in a state forest lodge near my home in southern Ohio. The same weekend I was to start the job was a class trip to Lake Erie out to the islands for 2 nights. My new boss said that I had to start on the day we left on the trip, so I relunctantly stayed home from the trip. I showed up for work and my new boss said that they didn't need me after all. I wanted so badly to punch the guy out, but I just sucked it up , quit and moved on. No bad or gross jobs really. I once got fired from a butcher shop job in high school for filling up a latex glove with meat scraps and blood then tucking it up my sleeve and cutting the fingers off with a meat cleaver in front of customers. It was worth it. The look on their faces was priceless.

I use IE as my primary browser but have Mozilla for when I need to use the features on the web site like admin tools. Using IE, I can't access any of the drop down menu's or change the background color. I can use all of the features and access the drop down's using mozilla. My biggest complaint is that the background never saves and always defaults back to the soldier theme every couple days. It must be placing a cookie on my PC rather that acutally changing my personal settings because it simply won't stay where I want it. I completely agree that it's difficult to read things with the default background.
