Have a great birthday Leadfinger.
-
He was lucky. The people could have had their bird feeder mounted on this.
-
LOL, that's like something my grandma would have done.

Happy Birthday Animal!

When I was about 14 I had a cheap single shot Sears 22 rifle. One day some friends and I decided to make a silencer for it. A bolt action works much better than a semi-auto because all of the gas (and noise) is expelled through the barrel. We ended up taping a 1/2 gallon plastic bottle to the end of the barrel. I cut out the bottom and in the center I rolled up some chicken wire for the bullet to pass through, and then stuffed cotton batting around the wire. A 22 LR still made some noise (about like a bb gun). A 22 L still made some noise, and the 22 short fired and the only sound we could hear was the click from the firing pin hitting the rim. Granted, a 22 short won't kill much, but it can do some damage if you hit the right spot. Other than that I have no experience with silencers. -
I used to develop my own B&W many years ago, but the cost of doing color was just too much. I don't think you'll be happy with the outcome of scanning your own color slides if that's what you're thinking, and of course you can't just scan color negatives. It takes some expensive equipment to do it right, which is why digital has put the film industry out of business. I do miss 35mm though. Some of the things I could make an old camera do is just too fucking complicated on today's cameras. My dad taught me a lot about photography when I was a kid. There was nothing automatic about cameras back then.

I never need to pick on you TBB. You do a fine job of making an ass of yourself without my help. -
Nobdy likes the dentist. I've had a cracked tooth for about 4 years I need to deal with at some point but it hasn't caused me any pain "yet". Part of my hesitation is the discomfort but even more than that is the cost. Those fuckers make tons more than doctors and dental insurance is a waste of money because it doesn't cover anything but cleanings and a very small portion of the other work. My wife had a broken jaw from a bike accident not long after we were married. Because her jaw had to be wired shut for a couple months it's caused all kinds of long-term dental problems including about a dozen root canals. They're about $1,200 each and insurance doesn't cover them.

Happy birthday Lead. Make it a great day!

I can see the safety issues for kids, but I think they should reintroduce them for adults that get too drunk to stand up. They could save hundreds of lives each year in Canada preventing drunks from falling down and hitting their heads.
-
Hilarious, but kind of sad too. I didn't say fuck around my kids until they were at least 3.
-
Congrats DJ. Yeah, kids breed like rabbits if given the chance.

Stinger is absolutely correct, kids can't be watched 100% of the time and all it takes is a couple seconds for a child to put themselves in a dangerous situation. But kids put themselves in dangerous situations frequently until they become adults and we as parents can only do the best we can and teach them right from wrong. I do feel that banning walkers is overkill. Regardless of whether an infant is in a walker, crawling, or just learning to walk on their own, anyplace an infant can fall down steps should have a child-proof gate. Just like cabinets and toilet seats should have child-proof locks and swimming pools should have fences around them with locking gates. It's just common sense and I don't need the government to tell me how it should be done. Just out of curiosity, if a family lives in a 2 story house and fails to put up a barrier to prevent the child from falling down the stairs, are the parents guilty of child neglect in Canada?

I donated $20 through Paypal and skipped the cold water. I do however challenge Black Bart to piss on Bullet. We'll call it the piss challenge.

Is this email in your main inbox or in a junk email folder? It looks like you're receiving it with the full header and all link functionality disabled. Images and links are displayed as code and that can make for a lot of characters. I have an MSN account and emails sent to my junk folder appear that way.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby_walker In Canada, the sale of baby walkers was banned on April 7, 2004.Canada is the first country in the world to ban the sale, importation and advertisement of baby walkers. This ban extends to modified and second hand baby walkers, including those sold at a yard sales or flea markets. The Consumers Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) changed the items that were allowed to be sold at such sales. Owners of baby walkers may be fined up to $100,000 or sentenced to up to six months in jail.

Logan, we're not here to discuss the layout of your bedroom. -
If the mouse doesn't work when he starts the game, he can use the tab key to move to different positions then the enter key will act as a left mouse click. Never heard of 2 mouse icons appearing and can't find anything online about it. My son uses Win 8.1 and has COD2 loaded through Steam. Took us forever to figure out how to get it going and finally figured out it wouldn't play without a mic plugged into his PC.

I think the video is bullshit because the person that uploaded has like a dozen vids from the same family doing the same kind of shit. But, I have personally destroyed shit of my kids before when they don't listen to me. A couple cell phones and at least 3 hand-held games bit the dust over the years in my house, and I could give a flying fuck what other people think about it, or whether it's illegal or not.

http://news.msn.com/us/amish-to-build-garage-for-pair-who-returned-girls Amish to build garage for pair who returned girls RICHVILLE, N.Y. (AP) — The Amish are famous for their barn raisings, when an entire community turns out to help a neighbor. In northern New York, members of an extended Amish family plan to hold a "garage raising" for the couple who returned two kidnapped Amish girls to their home. Jeffrey and Pamela Stinson tell the Watertown Daily Times that the garage at their home in St. Lawrence County recently burned down while they were on vacation in Maine. The fire was believed to have been started by a stray cat knocking over a battery jumpstart box inside. Earlier this month, the Stinsons were shocked when two Amish girls knocked on the front door of their home in Richville, about 15 miles from where police say the girls, ages 7 and 12, were abducted while tending to their family's roadside farm stand in Oswegatchie, on the Canadian border. The Stinsons said the girls were cold, wet and so hungry that they quickly consumed a watermelon Jeffrey had just picked from the family's garden. The girls then asked to be driven to their home. After a brief discussion with his wife on how to proceed, Stinson decided it was best to take them home rather than call police. "We never gave it any thought about implications or dangers," he said. "We knew they had to get home." Two days after the girls were abducted on Aug. 13, police arrested a local couple and charged them with kidnapping. Police said Nicole Vaisey, 25, and Stephen Howells Jr., 39, of nearby Hermon, used a dog to lure the girls into the couple's car. The girls, who authorities say were sexually abused, were released a day after being abducted when Vaisey and Howells were apparently spooked by an intense police investigation and media coverage, authorities said. The Associated Press isn't naming the Amish family members because it generally doesn't identify victims of sexual abuse. The family plans to build the Stinsons a new garage later this week. The victims, their 11 siblings, parents, grandparents and other relatives are expected to be on hand, Stinson said. The girls' father told Stinson that he would be offended if he could not help rebuild the garage. "They won't take no for an answer," he said.
