I work for Hewlett Packard in the UK as a Technical Field Engineer Level 4 on a contract for the Ministry Of Defence fixing multi vendor equipment from HP, Dell, Cisco, BlueCoat, APC UPS's, laptops, monitors, we kind of cover all kinds of IT related equipment! We are also responsible for the network side of things for the MoD and also for other Government departments such as The Ministry Of Justice & Home Office. I'm also on a 1 in 3 roster for out of hours break / fix on contracts for Barclays Banking Group, JP Morgan and a huge contract covering warehouses, distribution centres and stores for Tesco supermarket across the country but mainly in the south & west of England and across into South Wales too, more or less the area covered in blue on the picture below. I'm also a Team Leader for a group of 7 engineers in this area so spend a lot of my time doing paperwork & sorting out the day - to - day running of the area...
