Hi Janey, I'm only new to the Clan and don't know you that well yet but here are some thoughts. Just to qualify my comments a little, I have been separated/divorced since Xmas Eve 1993... What you are describing seems to be a normal reaction to a major life change, and the good part about it is that you are recognising what your reaction to stress is. It is much healthier for you to chatter on about nothing as a stress reaction than chosing to consume excess alcohol or drugs etc. From personal experience (myself and close friends) what I would suggest is to start doing some regular exercise and make sure you are looking after your diet which should help with the stress. The other REALLY important thing is to accept that you are going to have ups and downs, good days and bad days (but things will overall get better). Have you thought about trying to slowly give up the medication? Good luck with the job hunting, and DON'T stress if you don't get the first one! Cheers Bosun

WOO HOO! Thanks guys, can't wait to put on the tags and jump into the servers! I did make an intro post a while ago, but now seems an appropriate time to let you guys know a little bit more about me. I live in north Queensland in Australia, land of crocodiles, dengue mosquitos and the wet season - it has been raining here constantly for months but at least it is warm. 48 years old (so have had plenty of practice being an idiot) happily divorced for about 17 years with two grown up girls whose pictures I will NOT be posting lol. I do have a great significant other ATM - lets me game all I want! Yeah my ping is bad but that's what you get for living at the end of the world I guess. And I play on an Inspiron 1720 laptop hooked up to a decent monitor and keyboard so that is my OTHER excuse for getting killed all the time. I have a really great job which takes me away from internet access for about 6 months of the year, but then again it gives me 6 months of the year off too! I can't say too much about the job on a public forum but it's with the Government and I get to play with guns and boats. The only downside is I have to pass the same fitness test as the 18 year olds which is causing me some grief. My next fitness test is on Saturday and if I don't pass I will be stuck on shore for a while getting PT'd to death! How about a facility where a poll can be run to vote a map out of rotation? If there are a few complaints about a map then maybe a poll could be run over say 3 days then if a large majority are not in favour of the map it could be pulled. Maybe a 2/3 majority?

Got it too. Nothing major, just a consolidation of all the bug fixes etc released through previous updates.

{DS} Giggles Ok 1st I understand why some ppl camp but it has gotten out of hand when you have 3 or 4 ppl camping all the spawn point and killing you as u spawn so I understand what you mean,But as some have said it gives me great pleasure to kill the camper But isn't that what happens at the end of every FT game? Securing the opposition spawn so you can freeze the last one? I have to admit it does piss me off in non FT games though...

Hey all you COD4 Freezetag players, I have just finished the best and longest leave I have ever had - nearly 3 and a half months of Freezetag, ha ha! Unfortunately I now have top go back to work for a while - I'd rather not, but I have to pay the bills somehow. I'd just like to say thanks to everyone (idiots) in the servers who has made my time off so interesting, I'm actually not getting too bad a score from time to time, and generally having a ball. They say that rank has it's privileges, I'm not sure about that, but on this patrol I have my own cabin, with ensuite, AND a porthole so I can actually see out into the world...I only go down 1 ladder to the mess. Any navy guys out there will understand why I am happy. Anyway, I will be playing with real guns, (brand new 12.7mm (50 cal) HMG) driving a brand new boat and generally having a whale of a time. I have a problem with WAW updates.... I have installed the 1.7 patch but when I start WAW the version number is 1.6 and I can't join any games. If I try to reinstall the 1.7 patch it states that the patch is already installed. Any tips or tricks before I uninstall the game and try it again? Cheers, Bosun

Hi guys, I've been hanging around the servers (mainly freezetag) for a while so I thought it was time for an intro. I live on the east coast of Australia, so that is why I always have the high ping - sorry, but I can't change the laws of physics! One of the things that has impressed me about the >XI< servers is the respect that is shown to all, particularly to the younger members or those who aren't that skillful. And it seems that there are a few older guys playing so I can blend in well! Now all I need to do is learn the maps on ftag server 1 ... Cheers, Bosun
