  2. inds Major Flaw in Newest Computer Chips Published January 31, 2011 | Reuters Print Email Share Comments (34) Text Size Intel Codenamed "Sandy Bridge," Intel's new lineup of microchips promises the biggest-ever leap in processing power. Intel has found a defect in one of its chips, hurting its credibility during a major product launch and at a time when demand for microprocessors in PCs is being threatened. The company said on Monday it stopped shipments of the chip used in personal computers with its most advanced Sandy Bridge line of processors and has already started production of a new version. For Intel, the world's largest chipmaker, the design flaw is another distraction at a time when it faces sluggish personal computer sales and a major challenge from the exploding popularity of mobile devices, a market dominated by Britain's ARM Holdings. "Does it change the perception of Intel's quality? Yes, probably. You've got real product out there that's been qualified and tested and green-lighted, and then you come back to say there's a problem and you have to recall," said Wedbush analyst Patrick Wang. Intel has a good history of semiconductor manufacturing but it was criticized in the 1990s after it corrected but did not disclose a flaw in one of its Pentium processors.   15. LiquidStool I really like the way the site is heading actually, the one thing i'd really like to see (apart from more whaletails of the day) would be the ability to either upload our favorite mp3's obviously not hundreds but maybe our top 10 tunes of all time, or maybe to create an XI Music Player and clan members can create their own playlists. Thats a cool idea!!!!! I would like the REDRUM forum 2!!! ;}

  17. SARGE, I have to say I believe it would have to be something still not right in the wiring or very well could be comp. Do you have access to a scan tool?? Erase the codes, and plug the map in,start it up- Does the check engine light come on??? What codes?? Have you done a KOER test? When you disconnect the map you are putting it in limp in, so it goes to a set parameter that is why it runs better.Your gonna need a scan tool to see if the computer is actually reading real sensor inputs/outputs. But if it sets codes it is probably working and you can use the codes to see what circuits they have in common to track it down. PM me if you got more info or need help. PS knowing if your getting codes or not-and what they are if you do would help a bunch.

  20. LOL Wofltis, actually RogueKill started out as RogueWarrior because the reason I joined the military is because I idolized Richard Marcinko. He is the founder of the US Navy Counterterrorist unit-SEAL TEAM SIX. One of his books which I have sitting here on display in my military decorated computer room is called ROGUE WARRIOR. Then I changed it to RogueKilla66 because it sounded a little more "hip" and 66 is the year I was born. Then I joined >XI< and KILLA had to be dropped so Chili recommended RogueKill and it stuck.
  21. I don't think Rugger likes the idea but ya never know. I wish we could at least try it--no one else is on there.

Bing? Fa) is a Chinese military treatise that is attributed to Sun Tzu (also referred to as "Sunzi" and "Sun Wu"), a military strategist of the State of Wu who was active in the late-sixth century BC, during the late Spring and Autumn period. (Some scholars believe that the Art of War was not completed until the subsequent Warring States period.[1]) Composed of 13 chapters, each of which is devoted to one aspect of warfare, it is said to be the definitive work on military strategies and tactics of its time, and is still read for its military insights. The Art of War is one of the oldest and most successful books on military strategy in the world. It has been the most famous and influential of China's Seven Military Classics: "for the last two thousand years it remained the most important military treatise in Asia, where even the common people knew it by neme."[2] It has had an influence on Eastern military thinking, business tactics, and beyond. Sun Tzu emphasized the importance of positioning in military strategy, and that the decision to position and army must be based on both objective conditions in the physical environment and the subjective beliefs of other, competitive actors in that environment. He thought that strategy was not planning in the sense of working through an established list, but rather that it requires quick and appropriate responses to changing conditions. Planning works in a controlled environment, but in a changing environment, competing plans collide, creating unexpected situations. The book was first translated into the French language in 1772 by French Jesuit Jean Joseph Marie Amiot, and into English by British officer Everard Ferguson Calthrop in 1905. Leaders as diverse as Mao Zedong, General Vo Nguyen Giap, Baron Antoine-Henri Jomini, General Douglas MacArthur, Napoleon, and certain members of the Nazi High Command have claimed to have drawn inspiration from the work. The Art of War has also been applied to business and managerial strategies.[3][4][5] I thought everyone knew of Sun Tzu---that scares me that no one knew. You all play military games?
