Hmm weird, mine asked me to insert disk2, I had it installed in about 40-50min and it definitely reads the drive during install. After the 11.1gig download there should be a 472MB patch and a display driver upgrade comment. BTW-They released another driver after the beta completed for Geforce, that is supposed to improve the speed and performance of many video cards, 11% for the 560ti as an example. Make sure you grab that, the game won't require you to get it. Sorry it's giving you some pain in the butt trouble, hope it gets all ironed out for you. Good luck Jon

I agree with most, best game I have ever played. There are some binding issues as stated above, one of them you can't bind your mouse scroll wheel and the Q button but in terms of gameplay, it's amazing, realistic a true battlefield with unlimited options for combat. First time I have been able to move from one environment to the next all on the same map. Play as a team as a groundpounder or hit the skys it's awesome. Grab a jeep or a tank and ram through fences and buildings. This game offers something for everybody (depending on the map), the gun sound quality is unmatched as well as the graphic detail. Single player is a yawner, but who really cares about that anyway? Just an incredible game, that's my 2 cents LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hans Mijn game account is hellhouse / Hans-XI pleas add me I'm confused on your name/s Hans Mijn means "mine" in dutch so I got that part but I already had you on the list as Hans-XI- if I bring up Hans-XI on Origin it brings up the same profile and I received an Origin request for Hellhouse that has a name listed as Hans_XI Warink, do you also have an Origin account named Hellhouse that you want me to add, or is that someone else? 7toes_ky I had it preorderd through them till i relized how much infor origin collected off my computer it knew all my email acounts and what it needed just to run in back ground when i was not even playing the beta was crazy.so i cancled my order and i will wait for disc at stores.with disc you do not need origin at all to play i check with ea tech to make sure.... ok check this out, I should get a medal for my diligence in this matter, it was hardly worth it but it's done now LOL Called Origin on hold (this is not a joke it is actual time) for 1hour 32minutes 39seconds Finally they take my call and ask me what the problem was, I tell them They put me back on hold and did not know why it wasn't working on my computers They put me on hold again and asked what named I wanted, I told them They put me on hold again and changed the name for me Call ended with a final time of 1hour 48minutes 24seconds and my name is now PrimalFear_XI And they gave me coupon for 15% off any game in their store, for being so nice

BdogXI Is this game really going to worth it? I love COD4 but would be willing to try a new one if I knew it was going to be worth my time. Well most of those that have played it are excited about it's release. Since the beta is over and you can't check it out for free, and it is pretty expensive, you might want to wait for a demo or check it out at a friends house or even a local store that has set it up for review, if you are not sure it would be worth it for you. The game is not going to be for everybody. My review of it is BF3 combines the best elements of RTCW (team based classes to assist each other aka medic, supply, engy) with the best elements from Frontlines Fuel of War (planes, helicopters, RC's, sentrys) with the best elements of CoD (customized loadouts and a leveling system) with superb graphics and a quality of realism I have not seen before in any other game. At the same time the game seems to have some issues that even those of us excited about the game don't like (browser based server selection, possible naming issues, clunky squad selection, and very hardware demanding). We are hoping that most of these issues will be corrected but most of what we know about these things are still rumor at best, except those things that have been officially responded to like what I posted above. Anyway that's as honest as I can be with you, that's my 2 cents, checking out the reviews, trailers and youtubes is really your only option until release to decide it's value.

Negative, I just went upstairs and used the other computer with a totally different operating system and it doesn't work. That's 4 browsers and 2 computers with totally different settings different browsers different OS's etc, it doesn't work nothing happens. Everything else works fine on origin just not that page. Doesn't work.

RD ukildme It wouldn't let you add a _XI after the RDN53? The name change is an origin customer support function, you might want to give them a call and see if they can help sort you out. I was under the impression that we would have a place to put our tags outside of our name @ Primal Fear The link worked fine for me.....You have to log in and then change your name How? I click the link and it says what I posted above and has a login button, no place to enter login id or password just a button. So I opened another browser window and logged in on that window with no problem and reloaded the link and same result. Only option is click "login" and when I do nothing happens.

That link doesn't do anything, just says this: CHOOSE A NEW ORIGIN ID Please log in to change your Origin ID. and had a login button that does nothing, I logged in on another window and tried it and still a dead login button doesn't even try to load or anything.
