Spawn Killing
NickTheGrip replied to Tao Warrior's topic in Call of Duty 4's Call Of Duty 4 Discussion
I am sorry, I opened my eleventeenth Molson XXX and totally forgot what this thread was about -
Actually it was on CNN today - there is only one state in the union with no snow at present. I asked 10 people at work which one and they all said Hawaii - they were all wrong. As TSW said, Florida was the only state with no snow on the ground wow

Spawn Killing
NickTheGrip replied to Tao Warrior's topic in Call of Duty 4's Call Of Duty 4 Discussion
I have to agree with Artie on this one. (I know, it doesn't happen often) It is suicidal to wait to see if someone has just spawned as you will be dead. This isn't "pistols at dawn - 10 paces then turn and shoot". With the skill level of a lot of the players in the servers a split second is the difference between life and death. If I see someone I don't care if he/she just spawned or not - they are going down, or I am. This is spawn killing and especially on a crowded, small map, it is unavoidable. Now Spawn camping is a different story. If you camp on a known spawn spot and pick off people repeatedly as they spawn in you truly are a worthless twat and should go play something more your speed, like tiddley-winks. The thing is though, you don't spawn in the same place every time and what I do is, when I get spawn camped a bit, I make it my mission to go back to that spawn point and smack that asshole in the head once I spawn somewhere else. Sometimes it might take a while because bastards like Artie or Pete kill me on the way (love you guys, in a manly way of course) but those type of campers are dumb enough to still be there if someone doesn't beat you to the punch (pun intended) One thing I know is not allowed and that is spawn-tripping. That, in my book, and most everyone else I play with, is grounds for the size 13 up the rectum. -
We only got 5" so no one got shit

According to a few web sites Most expensive country for gas Germany $11.49 at time of article Least expensive Venezuela $0.12 at same time If you are ever curious (as it varies from state to state) here is a coo link http://www.gasbuddy.com/gb_gastemperaturemap.aspx

In Detroit it is around $3.25 a US Gallon (about 0.8 Imperial Gallons). I think that is around 2 quid a gallon

DJ Most USworkers have the following deductions from their wages, based on an income ofaround $50,000, which was the national average in 2009 Federal Income Tax Basedon income: goes from lowest at 10% (up to $17000 for a family) to 35% (above $374K) State Income Tax Approx4.2% here in Michigan, varies state to state. Some have no state tax but charge higher sales taxes, some are a flat rate, some are incremental based upon income level FICA (FederalInsurance Contributions Act) Tax 6.2%on the first $110k you earn Medicare Tax 1.45% City Tax Some cities charge a tax to their residents or workers - Detroit (where I live close to is, I think, 2.5%) Other deductions Retirement plan deductions voluntary, but most employers in the USdo not provide a pension plan and the government one (Social Security) is ajoke and most likely will be bankrupt in 15 years Health Care premiums Upuntil now there is no government supplied medical care for most Americans soemployers provide it. Some cover all the cost but most require the employee topay a portion of it – mine is around $140 per month for my family, which I amtold is mid-range That’s the pay check deductions. Then there are: State Sales tax Every state is different Highest is California, which is 8.75% Lowest is 5 states that have no state sales tax (Alaska, Delaware, Montana, N. Hampshire and Oregon) So here in Michigana person on the median income would pay Fed 15% State 4.1% FICA 6.2% Medicare 1.45% Total 26.75% Sales tax is 6%, by the way, but not on everything (unprepared food is exempt, for example) We are taxed lower than the UK, but its all relative. The countries with the higher tax rates tend to supply more services than the ones with the lower ones. In the UK everybody expects the government to supply everything, like for example, health care. In the US most people have to supply these things for themselves (like through employment benefits), but the tax rates are lower so its a trade off Either way, taxes are too high in both places as the governments are the worst money managers in the world. If they ran a business like they run the country it would go under within a year (both places - and I can say that having lived in both) Hope that explains it a little clearer People who live here please correct me if I am wrong as I usually am

Not sure if I answered this one before (too damn lazy to look back thro' 13 pages of posts) Born and raised in Blackburn, Lancashire in the UK Moved to the USA in 1988, to the Metro Detroit area, and officially lived there ever since. I say officially because I lived for almost 1 year in Kokomo-IN, 2 years in Leon-Mexico, 1 year in Cleveland-OH then 1 year in upstate NY before returning to the western suburbs of the Motor City - currently live in Commerce, MI (guess what, I worked in the automotive industry since I have been here, hence all the crappy places I have lived - when will the Big 3 start building auto plants in cool places - fuckers - LOL)

Glad to see that most of the admins read this - j/k -
Debunked - well at least most of them till I gave up - it was interfering with my gaming and I need to supply Spanky with a 'nade target!!!!!!! In every episode of Seinfeld there is a Superman somewhere. FALSE, there is a Superman, or reference to Superman in approx 75% of all theSeifneld shows, but not all of them Average life span of a major league baseball: 7 pitches. TRUE A duck's quack doesn't echo, and no one knows why. FALSE The airplane Buddy Holly died in was the "AmericanPie." (Thus the name of the Don McLean song.) FALSE – Don McLean never divulged what the reference to Miss American Pie was andthere have been numerous people who have tried to determine what he meant. Infact the song is thought to cover 10 years of events, not just the plane crash. Each king in a deck of playing cards represents a great kingfrom history. Spades - King David; Clubs - Alexander the Great; Hearts -Charlemagne; and Diamonds - Julius Caesar. TRUE and FALSE
