Throw one over here if you don't mind. I'd like to think I got something out of this game besides high blood pressure.

sigh. i'm socking away money right now. got my wish list set up on newegg. it never ends.

You know, i really can't say I like this game at this point. It's not horrible, but it's not all that fun right now. I played COD4 & WAW for hours at a clip and enjoyed it the whole time. I find this game to be incredilby frustrating to play. I want so much to like it, but so far, not happening. Not planning on spending any more money on it unless (a) the crash problem is solved and ( there is definite word on mod tools.

Yes, thanks for all the hard work. A player from another clan asked for our website and when we bumped into him a couple days later, he mentioned that it was one of the best clan sites he's come across. It's nice to belong to a clan that has members who are willing to put in the hours to run a site like this.

it depends cheese. If you're only rule is crouch unless under fire, most people follow it. its when you start piling on rules that it gets to be a problem. Do you have to kick alot of players? Slightly more than other games until you get a regular bunch of players. Like any other gametype, once you get a group of regulars that play on your server, they pretty much help keep everyone in line.

I'm all for it. The nice thing about the crouch servers is that it slows the game down just enought that you can use alot more weapons than in regular FFA or TDM. I love the FNFAL, but always seem to end up going with a weapon with a high rate of fire because enemies come at you so quick. You also have time to think through what you want to do, rather than running full speed and then sprayin' and prayin'. The crouch servers i've played on didn't seem to hard to police either; people get with the program pretty quick. I think it would be a great idea.

Are you using Xfire? I have found that xfire sometimes hangs up the loading map. I was getting the "BO not responding" problem every time I got in the game, and often when a new map was loading. As soon as I turned off xfire, those problems went away.

I was able to find it in the master browser list "XI Mixed". Then as soon as I refreshed my favorites list it was there.

I do like the mixed server; the CTF/DOM combination was the most fun on our servers since BO came out.Kudos to the admins for working that out. THat being said, S & D sucks.I'd sooner gouge out my eyes with a spork than play it. Every time an S&D game is played, Baby Jesus cries. More to the point, when DOM and CTF are being played, the server is full. As soon as the S&D comes up, the server empties out. Happened yesterday and today; from 18 players to 0 in one to two maps. Maybe make one server the CTF/DOM and turn the FFA into S&D?

Well, I have to agree with Deejay about one thing, rugby beats both of them hands down. After having played and coached rugby for years, I actually find football a little boring now. Still beats soccer though. Everything beats soccer.

FFA only get people if someone is willing to populate it. The last couple days cplmofo and I have jumped in and waited and it was full within 15 min or so. Problem is that the spawn points and the campers make it a frustrating slog pretty quickly. TDM is great but they really have to get the spawns worked out. I'd like to see DOM or CTF either in place of the FFA server for now, or the unranked server. I'm not sure that the unranked server is going to be a popular place unitl everyone is done ranking up/prestiging, etc. and they introduce mod tools. As soon as people start modding maps, that's when we should move to an unranked server. My .02$

The only problem i'm having with this game is when the server crashes. That's got noting to do with my comp or graphics card. I'm running a GTX 275 for crying out loud. I've seen the server crash issue (connection disconnect) on a couple of other servers, but nothing like what's happening on our servers.

I'll get to work on a massively complicated, mostly incomprehensible, grand conspiricy theory that will in no way explain any of this, and will then proceed to defend it to my death, all the while wondering with exhasperation why you all don't "get it"!!!111lelevnty11!!

yeah. second the evga support. My gtx 275 can still handle any game out there, but they are hard to find these days. If you have the money, the new 460 would be my choice.

Hey all, came back to WAW after a stint on the BFBC2 battlefields with my teammate CPLMOFO. Have enjoyed a lot of games with the XI crew and we figured it was about time to introduce myself. I enjoy the COD games, got started playing FPS on them, and always seem to come back to them. Go figure. I play about 15-20 hours a week, when I'm not working or coaching a collegiate rugby team. Looking forward to some good games again with y'all.
