This is outrageous conduct on the part of a police officer and I'm glad the asshole is in jail where he belongs. Cops have a damned tough job, no doubt whatsoever. I couldn't be one because it would be next to impossible for me to not beat the shit out of the first guy I had to chase at high speed, thus endangering the public. But clearly, this guy did not have the temperament to be a police officer. Made me sick to see him just dump the kid on his face after dragging him to the site of the road. He was more a threat to the public than someone whose job it is to protect the public. Bastard destroyed the kid's life. A shame he'll only do four years.
