    Whats your budget? From a brand standpoint, I recommend Netgear. Specs wise, go for multi-stream dual band with beam forming technology. Again it comes down to your budget. You can have dual 5G radios with a 2G radio so a tri-band router but IMO while it future proofs you for up to 3 years it may be more than what you need right now. Also, look for 802.11ac - don't buy the old a/b/g/n only routers, they should be extinct by now.     Have you tried cleaning the wax in your ears? Qtips do a decent job too, wet them in hot water and then slowly glide back and forth. On another note, make sure your COD4 sound is not disabled or turned down in Windows Mixer. Also, check if the Audio Output in COD4 is set to Windows Default.

    We should have a 3rd neutral team - RedCross. The Redcross players should only have defrost guns. They can be shot but they cannot kill anyone, obviously. No more RCXDs, no more UAVs. The redcross players dont freeze but they respawn instantly with a 10 second defrost lock on their guns. How innovative.... Woah! Game OVER Man Game Over!
