I have never watched CAM prints, ruins the movie. I can't go to the theaters either, well its difficult for me as well. So I wait for the movies to be out on Blu-Ray or DVD. I have Amazon Prime it works well.

Comcast recently doubled the speeds. I have a 105Mbps connection now for the same price as 50Mbps. I dont have netflix, because the only new stuff there is the old stuff I haven't seen. 5Mbps is good for HD stream as well but you will need to let it buffer. Do you torrent?

I built my tower 6 years ago under $800. I have since upgraded my GPU and windows drive to an SSD. I recommend building a desktop as it gives you more options, a laptop for that budget is just not meant for gaming. I can help you spec parts, ping me if you like.
