I don't understand why people complain about ACR being so powerful, the only difference between the ACR and the M16A is auto fire. The range and accuracy are similar. You could snipe, and I did with the M16A as well. Yeah, played for full 2 hours no lag spikes or CIs.

The semi auto doesn't have that good a range. It goes "poof" if they're at some distance where as the SPAS will get you that aimed shot.

I see. A feature request: can we have a keybind similar to drop object for "FART". Consider it a temporary stealth smoke. Everyone gets one "puff". The idea is that you kill someone really annoying you can fart smoke on their bubble . Can we do it, please?

@@Sammy #1. I have hardwired, I turn in to a RCXD and right after I blow up my car in that brief moment someone's EMP nade goes off. I still get the communications JAM that keeps me from using my next KS. I think this is a bug. Also, even if I don't have Hardwired while I am a car an EMP nade jam should not effect when I get new spawn protection after the car blows up. #2. Can you make the font for on screen messages smaller? "Hardwired is protecting you from Counter UAV" It gets in the way of the POV maybe move it up higher towards the top edge. Same for "Press F to retrieve the bouncy betty". It stays on screen for a good 5 seconds and becomes distracting. Just my observations.

SPAS12 is the only shotty that will give you one shot kills, the other one often gives u a helmet (Armor) and they turn shoot you before you can shoot again. Most maps in this rotation are large sniping maps and I have to find a close circuit area to get the drop on people. We should play some time when you're on.

@@Sammy what are the heavy objects in this mod that evryone downloads upon 1st connect. Especially the ones whose size depends on the map?

@@Sammy I do, it happened when there were 5 ppl on the server. Everything was smooth and then I get a 2s CI just when Bones(Australia) connected. It was a very big map though.

I notice the CIs happen when someone connects, especially if its someone with high ping (packet loss). I don't know if there is a solution to this. I suppose the mod is heavy and there is a lot of data being sent to the clients when they first connect, apart fron the map download.

I just love those spawns where I can see skeletons of teammates in front of me. Then one genius who happens to be in the front of everyone by a millimeter decides to go on a philosophical debate of "to pee or not to pee" and the rest of us are stuck and end up losing spawn protection in spawn. There is nothing wrong with slightly randomized spawns with a spawn region. Random spawns suck when they are all over the map, you've no idea who will spawn on your ass and knife you.

Have you already tried deleting previously downloaded files?

Ok so I installed my 270x cleaned the AMD drivers with their regular uninstall utility and then updated to 14.9 and played BF4 for 2.5 hrs. So far so good, no crash, nada, wohoooo! you got the 280x?

This is something I can relate to as well. I had the same issues with BF4, where it was the only game crashing my GFX card (R9 270x). For me it was the DXDIAG ERROR DEVICE HUNG not on Windows 7 though, only on Windows 8. Also, I noticed that BF4 runs smoother on Windows 8 with increased FPS. Incidentally I had a 4870 lying around and when I suspected my 270x I RMA'ed it. On my 4870 512 MB I get 15-30 FPS on the lowest settings on BF4 and never once did it crash. Using the 270x I started using Mantle and I did get quite an FPS boost. I did try a GTX760 with which I did not have a single issue. So definitely, there is something to this combo of R9 series and BF4. I received my 270x but I haven't put it back in the system yet. I used the AMD Driver Clean utility for Windows 7 on Windows 8, it broke my registry so now I cannot uninstall programs. I wish I knew that beforehand. Anyways, I will post back when I get a chance to put it back in the system.
