I addition to what loco said, light grid volume should encompass the entire playable area only ie height and width. It's ok to have say tall structures and foliage outside of the light grid if it's not a playable area. The light grid takes up memory resources of the map so you want to keep it to playable areas so depending on what a map looks like, can use multiple light grids of various sizes to surround the playable areas.

I always recommend to back up your player profiles on some sort of frequency just in case of computer crashes, reinstalls, etc.
