Bigmeandean Well I have the problem with my ATI card so what do I do about that? did you try to update your drivers yet Big D? ati/amd.com a lot of people have never had any problems with ati cards, me myself< I've had 3 or 4 different ati cards and always had problems with them. thats why I finally changed to ge force, only one problem with it sofar lolz, and it seems to be ok now that I updated my drivers, however Comcast still SUCKS!

Darth Yoda I usually play Freeze tag on all three servers. My style is hunter/defroster. I will sneak all the way across a map to defrost someone just to sneak back to my side and start over. I get angry over toobers and HATE people who camp until they are the last without defrosting. I'll follow people Like T-rat, Meek, SOB, Boomer and other 'cause I know They'll be at my back when needed. Teamwork rules in freeze tag. as always Yoda, you rock, and always a pleasure my friend!

it will not allow me to install that gump, it says a newer or equivelent version already excists... I downloaded and installed the latest drivers from nvidia, so I guess I'll see what happens now maybe it will fix my problem sigh

Gump Windows 7 supports directx 11 but the gts250 only directx 10.If your playing CoD4,your playing in directx 9.0.Make sure directx 9.0c is up to date. so you think I'll still have this problem unless I go back to dx9?

ain't that some shit! this time when I went to update my drivers, I found out that the my videocard doesn't support directx11, the new updated driver was about 4mb larger than the one i have now so I'm getting it anyway. but I may still have to dump directx11 and go back to 9.0c thanks guys, I'll try the new drivers first and see what happens before dumping the dx11 and step back to 9, bah horse shit!

yeah crap, I have the geforce gts250. I had nothing but problems from ati/amd video cards it seems lol. but now it never happened until windows7 came into the picture. I guess its just gonna be a nightmare kinda thing. I'll try updating drivers again thanks

Ever since I started using Windows7 and sofar it only seems this happens while playing ftag and usually during the map change, I keep getting directx unrecoverable fatal errors, of course the game crashes and I have to reconnect all the time. Sometimes it only happens once or twice, and others as much as 5 or 6 times during the course of my game play day. Oh yeah it happens on Zombies too! I played the Ace Mod yesterday for hours and it never happened even once. All my drivers and directx are updated, its directx 11 btw... Any Ideas anyone?

hmm well I can tell you it has nothing to do with your comcast cable or your modem or running through a router (even knowing you don't use a router anyway) As much as I hate Comcast fuck tard cable company its not them! (speaking as a comcast customer). And I never have had that issue with the game, only one that was remotely close and that was where my computer didn't reckonize my dvd player and I used a windows hot fix I think it was to fix that problem. Did you chose to install the game in a different directory other than the C drive? I mean a spot other than where it automatically choses to put the game into?

chavez click on start => computer => c (hard drive)=> program files=> activision => codwaw , there you can find the icons , copy the codwawmp and the codwawsp to your desktop WELL DONE CHAVEZ!
