Hi guys and Girls
i've been away for a while in and out of hospital amd now have a nice new ganimg pc. YAY.
troubgle is i loaded cod4 fromn steam and its loaded me the latest v1.8 of the game and i cant join you lovely / mental people as when i try to join it says you are running v1.7. 😢 any idea how to downgarade my copy of cod4 or is the xi servers going to be updated to 1.8.

Many of you have seen me playing here for years. Probably 10 years. Not sure. I really only play on XI. Before that, 10 years playing Soldier of Fortune 2.
 
Im a 38yr old corrections officer in central Texas. Ex military and Iraq vet. I am a family man with a lovely wife and 2 beautiful daughters with a  lot of hobbies such as playing here; salt water fishing; building anything out of wood; John Deere mower restorations; oil on canvas painting. I am also heavily involved in our church (Jesus) and community. Love big trucks, motorcycles and aircraft (dream to fly one day).

I’ve been playing at the XI CoD 4 servers for about 4 years now and I love it! The servers are great and the people are a lot of fun.
 
I’m currently studying Health Sciences and I’m having a part-time job as a grocery store cashier.
Besides playing CoD I like playing the guitar, listening to music, going for a run, cycling and watching tv.

COD 4 Freeztag....Anybody think it would be good idea to be able 
to vote on the next map. We used to do this in Unreal...quite a good way of filtering
the less popular ones....

I'm not sure if you are numerically challenged, but 1+1=2 and that is how many rounds the SkillCannon starts with, of course I only need 1 to kill you.

Cheers guys First off I'd like to thank LABOB for all his help, guidance, knowledge and seeing me through this tricky process of mapmaking. Without him putting the time and effort in to help me I'm sure this map would have gone the same way as the Titanic did lol
I'm already aware of a few little things that will need sorting out. The clip around one of the trucks and the ladder needs adjusting so that you can climb up, and its missing a iwd file to sort out that white wall. These things will be fixed. Please enjoy the map as it's my first effort im pretty pleased ,even though it was a lot of hard work and there were a serious amount of hours spent on it ......................... cheers markoff

My name is Bevis (42) 'aka Neo's Evil Twin' from the UK, and have been enjoying the XI freeztag server since last year.
I started off playing UT 2004 about 2-3 years ago (later starter) but got tired of the reduced servers for the mac (and the lag....)
I've been playing COD 4 for about 18 months and found the 'XI' server  after updating to the latest version... Since then never looked back. I really missed the freeze tag (from UT2004)
So far great bunch of guys and girls and the maps are really varied. I have also just activated voice chat and whilst I don't have a mic yet it's 
like having a new game. Banter is great sometimes.....you know who you are !
 
Anyway, great to be aboard
