Very nice... you have god like blood in you.

When Chuck Norris does pushups the Earth moves.
When Chuck Norris speaks, even Hellen Keller listens.
When God was creating the heavens and Earth, he consulted Chuck Norris first.
When Chuck Norris dies he'll go heaven and tell Jesus how he did on Earth then take over for forgiving us of our sins.
When Chuck Norris observes the Double Slit Theory experiment, all the partials disappear and hide.
When Chuck Norris decided to attend a Ditty after hours party uninvited, Ditty left the country without saying goodbye.
Chuck Norris's pronouns are, "God Like" "Master" "Queasy Lord" "Simi-Perfect" and he expects you to use them.

No, Chuck Norris doesn't do push ups, He pushes the Earth down.

I don't care what the lyrics on the album says.. It's and I made proof, "look Mommy there's no plain up in the sky." So maybe it should be, "Look Mommy there's chemtrails from no plain in the sky". I don't know.

Why did you drag Pink Floyd into this mess?

I had no intention of bringing Pink Floyd into the conversation....It's actually something I said to myself out loud one morning, outside in the country ,when I was at work looking up into the dawn rising and saw 7 freaking X's in the sky !  I felt like the Gov't is just flipping us the bird.....and No, my name is not johnny.....

Looks like a load of fun was had by all. I started playing Paintball in So. Cal. in the mid 80's on some old TV Show locations like M.A.S.H., "A" Team and Baa Baa Black Sheep/Tour of Duty. Those fields were cool and each was different. MASH was in the hills near Simi Valley on the same Canyon Property that was used to film the Lone Ranger, Cisco Kid and other westerns and was know for lots of house size or larger granite boulders and lots of trails and scrub brush. The A Team property had lots of sandbag bunkers and downed aircraft and wooden towers and huts and exploded cars and was in a canyon outside of Burbank in the foothills that probably have homes on them now. The Tour of Duty/BBBS field was my Favorite because it was alike the A Team one but with more Structures, no cars, and palm trees and was in a canyon in the Malibu area so the ocean air kept you cool even in the heat of summer. We started out using Nelspot Markers and wearing whatever and only old shop goggles for eye protection. Single shot pump action with 10 rounds and a 12gr cartridge. CTF games and lots of missed kills or shots at point black in the back. It was fun but it was a lot of hiding and then someone grabbing the flag and sprinting since hunting players was tough with that equipment. Then we figured out that we could get camo cheap at surplus stores, better eye, face and body protection in motocross magazines and found the Sheridan Markers and that frame changed it all for us. A guy who was on our team that formed at the MASH field "my first" and made props for the movies learned how to replace the barrel with a 24 inch barrel that was just a C hair smaller than the balls and added a shoulder stock that held a 10oz Co2 canister and for a few of us he even made noise suppressors that made the pop a little puff. These guns changed the game since you could hit almost anything you aimed at up to about 100 feet and with the added hopper feeder you didn't run out of paint in a fire fight. I still always carried a stock Sheridan in a shoulder holster because it stayed out of the way, protected my forward chest area and if I had a ball bust in the barrel I could still fight since my pockets were filled with 8-10 10 balls tubes of paint to reload the hopper or pistol on the run. The Team at MASH field was called "Havok" and I was the right flank gunner so my job was at the start of each game to run as fast as possible up the right boundary and get to at least mid field before engaging the other team and hold that edge and push. We were featured in a magazine that came out in 88 all about paintball and products since we were the second best team in Calif and 4th in the nation even without going to Nationals. We were even sponsored by Oakley and O'Neil and they provided us with eye wear, gear bags, clothes, and footwear as well as paying our fees for games and paint. Several of my teammates went on to become stars in the game and did endorsements and were in the mags. When I moved to No. Carolina in 90 I found a team that had a great field and a good group of guys who couldn't play worth a damn. I asked about joining the team after a few weeks and they said go out on the field and wait for 3 guys to find you. Once the first shot is fired you have to live for 5 minutes to make the team. I found a old Deer stand about 15ft up and hid there and soon the 3 guys walked down the trail toward me only 1 after the other with very little spread  in a straight line. I rose up slowly and shot the one in the back of their line and the middle guy and finally the lead guy all before they even knew where I was. I went up to the staging area and someone told me I was supposed to run after that first shot and avoid the other guys. I went to my truck and pulled out my old Havoc Field Jacket with my patches and put it on and explained to them if you kill the other team you win and walk the flag back. That started the run that Allied Special Forces enjoyed for years after we won our first State title that year after they finished last the year before I showed them how the game was played. The game had changed many times since then and will continue to change but the RUSH is still the same and the lesson is still the same. If you are in a situation where you can get shot you will and if you get shot you will die. So I avoid real guns but still love playing bang bang and knowing when I have hit something instead of hearing my little brother claim I missed lol. Thanks @Streetcleaner for sharing your current set-up and how the game has changed since the humble days when I remember it getting started on a bigtime scale aka the olden days

Look, you are never too old to play again....I don't know how old you are but I didn't get back in to it until my two grown sons hauled the paintball guns out of storage 3 years ago hadn't played since about 13 years before that. I'm 58 and not as fast as I was...haha not fast at all and with my gear on.....old slow but still deadly. Magfed today is a lot like playing single pump the way you guys played it.limited ammo but in a different platform, military like with the mags but there are some who run box mags(roundball only)it's a hopper that feed the gun from the bottom like a magazine but not many of those.I like the Milsim aspect because it's really like training with my real AR same platform and well, look at the picture and my rifle. It is very tactical and as you know good communication is key.I have a whole back up kit with my back up marker, a Tippmann TMC Elite and plate carrier vest to hold the mags even a mask...so let me know.... One thing I live by...." just get out there and do it ! "  IT referring to anything you want to do....

  5. The season is starting and I was feeling a little down. You see, Magfed paintball is much different than "normal" paintball.without getting into too many details, the paintballs or FSR's (First strike rounds )go twice as far and are twice as accurate than a roundball but both go into a mag like a normal rifle and feed into the marker from below from a clip. Usually 18 to 20 rounds a clip. These markers are used in MILSIM (Military simulation)games or MFOG (mag fed only games) and some, like mine, are a 1:1 ratio to an AR15 or a M4A1 if on full auto....So....with that being said I was losing faith that it was losing ground, no fields around me are  allowing FSR's ...anymore, after the speedballers complained. They said it was unfair....lol. Not gonna go into it. I go to a couple scenario games a year that allow FSR"s and maybe have 5 to 7 private games a year and only a few private ones are MFOG.I got the word through I guy I paintball with sometimes (Sidewinder) that a Magfed team "Cayote Force" out of Indiana was hosting a MFOG event and allowed us to bring our own paint, including FSR's or buy First strikes there. They also had great field paint for magfed, Valkyn Graffiti. They held it at a place called White River paintball. It was a total effing blast ! they did it right ,the reffing and players being honest when they were hit was great and the players were all really cool and there to seriously play and have fun. I took some good hits with FSR's Oh,btw when these things go by you they whistle/whine like real rounds. took one to my right wrist, side of my neck, and the side of my ass !! ouch ! but the neck hit pain and bruise lingered....a couple lens hits as well but I dealt a lot of death, long range window head shots, head shots and many more.played for 6 hrs taking breaks after each field to reload and air up and whatever else then onto the next field and next scenario. TDM, attack and defend, freeze tag. one field where we only had one mag per player. much pizza for lunch....uh what else do you need? they are having another one May 5th !! .....  Hell yeah ! Cayote Force is a great group of players and a solid team. It was so cool to meet so many of like mind. The closest you can come to war without dying the adrenaline is super high. COD for real brothers and sisters.

Sorry...I am sure this isn't the first time someone asked for help on this but in searching the forums I was unable to find a solution.....

    New windows 11 Desktop computer

    Installed from Steam account COD4

Can run single player but when switching to multiplayer....game just crashes.

IF I recall there are perhaps two things needing to be done. First, changing the iw3mp.exe file? Is this correct and if so where do I find correct file?

Second, I recall there may be some update changes 1.8 to 1.7 or something like that....

Can some one assist me on this. Thanks

steam adds all the updates when you download it, quite convenient from the old days of the hard copy disk, you also need to go back (downgrade)to a certain version of punkbuster(there's a article on this in the XI community forum I believe)good luck !

Metallica should have stuck with Bob Rock as producer.  With Death Magnetic, I bought the vinyl lp and ripped it as a wave.  The vinyl mix was not as compressed and limited as the CD.  I remember people were ripping the DVD soundtrack also.  It was better sounding.   But the vinyl mix was so much better.  We need to bring back "Dynamics" !!!

Not a Bob Rock fan although...he didn't do a bad job playing Bass on Anger ......the newer albums sound good(Hardwired and 72 )but I like Flemming Rasmussen /Ride the lightning and Master as producer better than Rock....but please bring back analog !! AAD

  8. Have lived in southwest Ohio since I was 11 now 5.....ahh not so fast.I have traveled to many states and many beautiful states at that and major cities but... I always come back to Ohio, it has soooo much and very different landscapes and so much to see in this most beautiful state, really didn't appreciate it until I had traveled...and there is still so much I haven't seen.  Ohio? Hell Yeah ! :guitar:

  9. Ahhhh well...... while I'm at a huge paintball event this July(27-30) in Michigan Hell will only be like 4 miles away...so,hell,why not go to Hell....right? I was going to go to PRZ in Ontario on the 15th of July( Honeybadger) and then on to Montreal for a few days but it being a 10 hour trip to Picton and another 4 to Montreal I couldn't validate the time spent driving and accommodations for just one day of magfed paintball.then 2 more for the extended trip then....the long trip back....where as Pinckney Mi. is just 4.5 hours...... and 4 days of paintball with the first two being magfed only.and Sat. will be my sniper kit day....lol  I will make many peoples lives hell ! Muhahaha bring your own paint and First strike rounds are allowed(youtube them)...like I said, make peoples lives a living hell.... haha ! in Hell or close to...Ah yes,it's way more fun doing COD for real.... without the deaths of course . So,maybe I'll send some postcards from Hell.I think I'll bring some sunscreen and a cooler.

Smile and have a Magfed day !
