  1. http://www.altex.com/ASUS-156-S56-Ultrabook-with-Windows-8-S56CA-DH51-P154540.aspx We have a store local here and I buy parts, software and other for myself and customers. The Vet who takes care of my dog and I have a barter system agreement. I fix all their computers issues/other and they take care of my dog. They asked me for a suggestion on a laptop and normally I choose Dell for a few reasons. Bubba the doc wanted to go with an ASUS. I said sure Altex carries them I will check what they have. My rep Jake tells me about this netbook. The details on the page just does not do it service. Aluminum chase. 6GB of ram up to 8. 750GB SSD drive. Super all thin DVD burner ROM. Less that a inch thick and 5.07lb's. Super fast... instant on feature from ASUS and it tells you how many days it will stay alive in standby or sleep mode on battery. HDMI port, 3 USB 3.0's, VGA, not bad speakers, and a 4 cell battery that can be upgraded to a 6 cell. Bubba asked after seeing the quote if it was durable enough for moving around the office. I told him it has 1 year warranty on Drops, Sills, Surges and something else. The thing is solid. It does not flex when you twist it. If anyone is looking for a laptop/netbook check this one out. If you want my 5% military discount you can use my account to get one. No way you can beat this deal.
  2. I think we will have to wait for the 22nd century before that happens. And the way this country is heading... everyone will be sitting to take a piss. lol
  3. This is so funny... hahaha
  4. Good luck to you and your brother. Don't even consider myself to know your brother but I hope he understands the efforts you have taken to keep him going and appreciates it. I hope takes his best effort not to screw things up at your work. It is a big risk you are taking but again... I don't know your brother. You are a great person for what all you have done for him and I commend you for that. My brother would laugh if I was living under a bridge. He has always been an ass like that but suppose to be a pastor at is church. humm.... And be a nice guy for once in your life.... put the fucking toilet seat down after you take a piss now that you are moving in with the girlfriend.
  5. Don't worry Harry we will be attacking you in our borrowed French aircraft carriers but of course we won't have any planes left by then, too expensive, so we will be sending airships, but beware if we do make a landing on your shores our 2000+ Territorials (weekend soldiers) will probably drink all your beer, as long as it's warm of course. We will be using spit wads ourselves. We are out of money as well but we keep spending. NWO is alive and well. Break the bank so a world bank can be created. Im going to start making my stash of spit wads and buy a bunch of straws before they make them illegal. lol
  6. Looks like she has her mothers looks.... THANK GOD.. lol Great picture brother!!!!!
  7. I love Fry's... wish we had one here in San Antonio. The best thing to do is build it yourself. Part by part. Never let a store build one for you. You will get cheap crap and you can pay almost the same when you build with quality parts yourself. Fry's has everything you need and then some. As here like you have what parts you see available and which to choose.
  8. You can have both.. but sounds like she is a winner. You decide. All dogs deserve a great home. They all love... even if some are weird.. like me. lol
  9. Found this... I think this helps answer the question. Best Answer - Chosen by AskerYou're broadly right. The British Royal family generally have few legal roles apart from the Queen herself, although they are immune from various laws like planning permission (local government has to authorise that any building work is safe, but the royal family can do what they like). The Queen is in name the Head of State, the head of the armed forces and the head of the Church of England. In practice she is not allowed to actually exercise any authority or even display any preferences. The cost of keeping the whole royal family is estimated as £41.5m (about $70m?) per year, although this is not all as cash paid directly to them (only £7.9m) - a lot of it goes as money spent upkeeping the various estates. In addition there is the cost of security provided by the police and the army, which is not published. However, this money is offset against money paid to the treasury in income tax, capital gains tax (in the UK, if you buy property cheap, and it goes up in value and you sell it expensively, this difference is subject to capital gains tax), and in earnings from various estates they own - these earnings are paid to the state in exchange for the £7.9m mentioned above. The Royal family own an enormous amount of land. One set of land alone, the Crown Estates, is worth £6.2 billion, and makes profits of around £200m per year which are paid to the state, which alone heavily outweighs the cost of the Royal family. In addition there are the Duchies of Cornwall and Lancaster which are probably worth another £1bn. From our point of view, financially, it benefits us to have these holdings associated with the state rather than a private business, as a lot more money flows back into the state than it would do otherwise. Most of their wealth is based on stuff they inherited, or proceeds from the estates, or businesses based on the estates. Prince Charles owns a company that makes biscuits (Duchy Originals). They're quite nice! Politically, the point of keeping the Queen as Head of state is to provide some sort of counterbalance, albeit even only theoretical, to the Prime Minister. Most countries have two houses of government and a Head of State; the US has the House, the Senate and the President. The British Prime Minister controls the House of Commons (roughly equivalent to the House); the House of Lords (even more roughly equivalent to the Senate) is much weaker than the Commons; so he actually has much more direct authority than the President of the US, so it's important that there is some counterbalance. The British PM cannot actually seize power as a dictator because technically the army belongs to the Queen and she has the authority to dissolve parliament. The Queen cannot seize power because it would cause a revolution. This situation has basically evolved over the last 350 years or so because, as revolutions happened all across Europe and various Kings and Queens were beheaded, the British Monarchy looked at it and thought, we would rather give power back a bit at a time, than suffer a revolution and lose it all. The ball was started by our own Civil War, 1642-1651, followed mainly by a period of dictatorship, until we re-established a monarchy that had to listen to parliament in 1660. This gradual constraining of the monarchy has continued right up until 1992 when they started paying income tax. So - what's the benefit of keeping them? People have different opinions and it kind of comes down to taste. From my point of view the finances are pretty even or actually profitable for the country. For me it's a matter of style. For me, there is no other person in the world whose title is as impressive as the King or Queen of England. For sheer grandeur and symbolism nothing can touch it. The President of the United Stated comes second - but to be honest, he's only going to be there for eight years, and there is a reasonable prospect that one day Sarah Palin could have that title. I think history and symbolism are important, especially in trying to create a nation; trying to make millions of people who don't know each other unite under the same banner. That is why America has worked so hard to elevate the idea of the President to an almost religious status. If you have something that's richly symbolic and you throw it away it's hard to build it up again. I'm not especially into these particular people. I'm sure they're no better or worse than a lot of other people. But the idea of the monarchy is so central to the idea of what it means to be British, that, at a time when we're struggling for an idea of national identity as it is, it would be too destructive to rip it out. And they don't actually do any harm or cost any money. 10. Hope I did not offend anyone from the UK.. it was just a joke or my further comments. Caper.. I have no idea. Probably why we admire people like the Kardashians or Paris Hilton. If they dont do anything why so much attention. For them money has to buy the fame. I guess the same for the K's and H'es.
  11. My dad made this joke up... or was sent to him. hahahaha but he sued to have this album in the 80's.

    Windows 8

yea you can do a screen print button then past it in mspaint.. save as a jpg and email to me [email protected] I decided not to go with 8 for them... sticking with 7 as I have no idea how it will work in a domain environment. PC's are starting to suck. MS will die if they keep going the route they are.. I feel 8 is a big old advertisement and wanting everything purchased off the web. No way doing any of that. I feel it is a huge security hole.
  16. Looks like a rat terrier mixed with something else that is not terrier.... a way better bread. How old does she seem. Young or like 2 years old? Cute looking dog.
  17. how about what is running in the back ground. What is the CPU usage when you are doing nothing. Right click task bar then select task manager and look at performance.. what does it show. Should be 0 1 but not much more for a clean boot or even when doing nothing. If it is more then you look at processes and show process for all users. Sort by CPU... see what bounces up and down. If again low on everything... then you are cool. If not then sort by memory... if you see a processes growing and growing... you found your problem. If you know all this and have tried.. the just ignore.
  18. Do you yell out DAMIT!!!?

  24. I quite for a bit but my dad keeps coming over as he smokes.. so naturally I want to have one with him. Then I switched to pipe tobacco and cut way down... then quit then went back... so today was in my drug dealer store.. and this lady was trying to cut down. I talked her into getting a ecig. She got one then I decided to take my own advice. Cool as shit. Got some cherry flavor and man it tastes so good. I got a buzz on three small puffs. 18mg must be strong. Some day I want to switch to the 0mg. I just smoke because of the habit and a social thing. Now going to get my dad to switch over. He really needs to quite and this is way better. He can smoke in the car or bathroom if he does get one.
