Anyone notice the price of Beef? Like talking to someone from the 50's saying gas was 5 cents a gallon to today's prices saying a 15+lb brisket was $9 in 1997 to 30+ $ today. Food is getting extensive.

i have a cd image with acronis and windows XP bartpe. Very good tools to have. It has a few other apps like a password reset. I love my multiboot disk.

it will help allow you to boot off a cd or dvd then check the drive and other. But i am pretty sure the drive is toast. If you got a second drive as you say.. that would be the best option. Just install xp on it and get all the drives. I will pm you my number if you have questions or snags. IDE btw has a master setting and a slave. if the second drive is installed now then you probably will have to change that.

Does it have Sata or IDE Vipe? You will need to replace that hard drive and doubt you will be able to get the data off that machine. I can give you a utility to verify that. Wish I had a drive to send you. Sure someone has an old one if IDE. If you need any help setting it up.. I will be happy to help.
