Hey guys! I miss the heck out of y'all!! I still talk to a few people via text and Bama and I reminence often. I call the cable company often but they won't budge. They would have to run the cable 1200 feet down the road and then 1200 feet up our house. They want $12,000 to do this but offered to cut the price to $7,500 if we dug the trench and buried the cable from the house the road. As for AT&T, they are now only offering 768 KB. Yes, that is KB!!!! We would love nothing more than knock the dust off of the computers and join y'all. We're also opposed to ditch digging parties.

Oh Wildthing! I can't even imagine what you're going through. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will pray for you and your family.

I'm pretty easy to buy for because I want it all: clothes, jewelry, a tractor, massage, new car, the ABILITY TO GAME AGAIN, concert tickets, yada, yada, yada. But I need no material things. I've asked for years for my family to take the money they'd spend on my gifts and do something nice for someone else and then tell me what they did on Christmas morning. I think that would be awesome but they don't like that idea. What's on your wish list?

Such a sad situation. They're under mandatory evacuations. This is right where we were for the XI Fest last month.

They have a trolley system in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge that stops at all of the attractions and goes between the two towns. So....we can drink as much as we want. :-) I'm looking at cabins close by. I looked into this a couple of years ago and found some that would rent blocks of cabins and there's lots of very large cabins that sleep a ton of people. I'm an Idiot so I can't remember the names of those places. Not sure that my nerves can take being in the same house with some people. Lol. I love you, Hxtr, but you get on my nerves! Pigeon Forge has a lot more cabins but I'm trying to find places in Gatlinburg that's not in top of the mountain. I don't want your drunk butts trying to walk up the stairs to those! :-D

I've been going there my whole life. We always stay in cabins. We find that it's actually cheaper and much nicer. They rent blocks of cabins to groups as well as large lodge style cabins that sleep a bunch of people. There is so much to do there and it's one of my favorite places. I'm so glad it was chosen this year.
