So I have been experiencing really weird ping issues lately. It will go from 90-400 and everything in between the whole time I am playing. I have done everything I know to do to correct this (stopped startup programs that aren't needed, making sure Netflix isn't running on my Wii, laptop & Ipad- some of you know the cause of this problem for me the last time was running Netflix on all 3 devices at the same time haha I'm blaming that one on my hair color. Anyways... I decided to run Malwarebytes just to see if maybe there was something I was unaware in the background. I don't know if that has anything to do with my ping or not but figured I would give it a try. I'm glad I did. I don't know if it will help anything but I think its not a good idea to have 95 objects detected just by performing the quick scan. I'll run a full scan now just in case. Just thought you tech guys would appreciate the little story AND FYI..........Nothing came from porn downloads so you can stop fantasizing right now.

Janey, I agree with everything that has been said. Prinny gave great advice on what to wear. Basically just look clean, simple and conservative. Overall you don't want them to even notice what you have one or what you look like. I will be praying for you and this situation. I have been in court a few times and it is extremely nerve-racking leading up to it. Once you get there you will see that it is not as bad as you thought it would be. I always worked myself up into panic attacks for weeks ahead of time only to find this did not help the situation at all. Get lots of sleep the night before and eat a good breakfast. You don't want to feel tired and hungry while you're there. Most importantly... I hope it goes well. Please let me know the time the trial starts so I can cover you in prayer. I will be praying for peace and comfort over you!

I thought I disabled the add on that was causing it and uninstalled the program that was named the same thing. I ran malwarebytes in safe mode and it did not find anything. I'm not sure what else to try

I uninstalled the program from my computer but that didn't work (I thought it might be too simple of a fix). I am going to try running malwarebytes in safe mode now. Thank you all again for the help!

I figured out through the add ons that its the fast free converter thing. http://botcrawl.com/how-to-remove-fast-free-converter-malware/ That website explains it incase anyone is interested. I am running CCleaner right now and will do a malwarebytes run in safe mode tomorrow. Thank you all again for the help!

To add more info: It just happened so I right clicked the page and looked at the properties. The protocol says, "HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privacy." Also when I close Internet Explorer I get the "Internet Explorer has stopped working" message. I have checked if the popups happen when I use Firefox and they do.

Somehow I have a virus or something installed that has weird pop ups. They either come up randomly, come up when I click a legitimate link (like the forums tab in here) or they are highlighted and linked within a word on the page I am looking at. I have ran malewarebytes twice, once the short and once the long version. Anyone else have a recommendation to get rid of this?

I'm glad to hear this was taken care of for now. I will be praying for her... she has a long road of emotional recovery ahead and will need lots of friends and support. Try to encourage her to get the identify stuff straightened out asap. It can take years to clean up and the sooner she begins, the better. I am glad you are willing to do the right thing and help her. It will make a big difference in the long run that she has seen how a true man takes care of women!
