Because there are some people out there that shouldn't have ever been allowed to have kids because they don't have a clue of how to put together basic common sense. A child gate would have saved a lot of lives in these walker death situations but people take chances. Wrong, yes it is. Taking chances on your child's life like that should be neglect, but try proving that in a court of law. So, if kids keep dying because of these walkers not being properly controlled in a safe environment I can understand why a decision like banning them had to be made.

yes majority of the time is parenting. 100% is pure insanity and impossible. A parent should always be attentive to the whereabouts of there children at that age. But in a split second life can change. And Murphy's law says it will happen when you least expect it

I disagree. As a father I can attest to the fact that it is impossible to watch your child, pet or anything 100% of every minute of everyday whether they are awake or asleep. It's that moment you look away to flip your eggs, put a bowl in the dishwasher, etc that these mistakes can occur. The issue is the walker, not the parent. This country saw fit to ban it for its dangerous potentials and that I have to agree with (one mans opinion)
