I had a roommate back 10 years ago that script played cod 4 all the time. I learned a lot from him but never used it myself cause I never agreed with it. But from what I remember there was a lot of altering that can be done to enhance game play in a lot of the early year cod games.
@@Nighto is right that it occurs but let's be really clear what it is first. Write a program to create a chain of events "after" a certain chain of events occur is really all a script can do for you. You cannot write a script to give you extra controls, extra movement, extra items etc. when a non auto pistol is spraying bullets, it's more likely scroll shooting and not scripting.
That being said, good luck detecting it. Scroll shooting is easy to see but impossible to prove. Scripting can be seen by very knowledgable people of the cod game and can recognize when he sees a player making a movement that is beyond regular cod movement, but again impossible to prove..
Unfortunately scroll and script are part of the game and nothing can really be done to prove it out right.
