Just wondering as it seems to be kicking people it shouldn't. I was second place on the winning team and got redirected when Frenchi (sorry to pick on you, but you were) was AFK for an entire round. I don't want to just moan about something I don't like, so if you let me know which mod you are using for the redirect, I will take a look at it and see if it can be tweaked to perform better. =)

Do you guys have access to the box? You could always copy the files over to one of the other ip's that isn't populated.

I would like to be made an honorary member for, lets see now... about 3 minutes! ;-)

Zombie server is not as much fun as it was on the old mod. The new mod is far too difficult on most maps, Geometric is impossible, you can't get enough ammo to finish the first round unless there are loads of people playing. In fact, ammo seems to be the main problem... The maximum ammount needs to be increased. I like the fact that you can't just climb up somewhere high to stay out of the zombies reach, however, they seem to just float up to you in some areas (like on fabrika). The artillary doesn't seem to work, unless I am missing something. I haven't got the C4 to work yet, clays have only worked once for me. The tesla gun is garbage and more of a hinderance than a help. The killstreak awards seem to activate themselves (usually at the end of a round, the number of nukes that have been wasted whilst I am between waves and resupplying is infuriating) Some weapons are brilliant, some are not so great, but I guess that is more personal taste than anything else. As it stands, I prefer the old mod, but only because it is more playable. Once this one is made a bit more forgiving, I will prefer this one.

This, in theory, implies that the same benefit could be gained from methods other than just squeezing. I would like to suggest that repeatedly banging a cock against them would have the same medicinal properties.

My car is a '97 (but '98 model) Jaguar Xj8 Sovereign LWB. It' a 4 litre V8 normally aspirated, so it's a really smooth ride but goes like shit off a chrome shovel when you want it to, despite weighing over 2 tonnes! It was originally owned by Jaguar (although technically I think they all were) as one of the directors cars so it has all the mod cons and it also explains why it is the newer model a year before its official release. My only wish really, is that I could afford to drive it every day.... it does approximately 20mpg averaged out over motorway and urban (mainly urban). On a long motorway drive I can get just over 30mpg, but it could do more if I didn't have a heavy right foot. Please excuse the heavily pregnant wife.

Sorry for late reply Storm, I keep forgetting to stop by the forums here..... Definitely the same clan, although Redneck is the only name I recognise there. It's changed a lot over the years but still has the same core values. We suck at getting anyone to play COD4 though, which is why I am on your server all the time! =)

I graciously request that the redirect system be improved to maybe weed out the inactive and disconnected players before the participating players. I have been redirected whilst near the top of the board when there are four players AFK and two players with 999 pings. I have no idea if it possible to have a way of selecting who is chosen for redirect first, but it has to be worth mentioning. Many thanks

Yeah, if your car is being jammed with eavesdrop and they EMP you, if the eavesdrop guy stays within jammer distance of your car, you cant move when you are a person again. It has happened on occasion that I was still jammed after respawning too, but that only happened once!

You can definitely get killed from explosives through the same walls that can be shot through. If a bullet can pass through, then it is logical that shrapnel will also pass through. Test it yourself with a nade and a barrell, or a wall.

I like the new server, but there is usually no bugger on it! Nova gas needs making so it doesn't affect teammates or just removing in my opinion. If I can help in any way I am willing. I am comfortable with modifying most of the server settings and the configuration files and would like to help out if needed.

Any chance we could get the zz_weapons file added to the downloader? The redirect keeps cutting off at 33Mb.
